I don't think any Dynon reply will be accurate.

Rice Crispies sound coming from Skyview screens

No one here designed or built your system.  Everyone's setup is different.  It's not clear how many skyview screens you have, nor much else about your configuration.  You could have a ground loop somewhere, however, your issue sounds different.  More data would be helpful including what...

Rice Crispies sound coming from Skyview screens

I would remove those butt connectors and fix those bad connections.  Poorly made connections are going to be the cause of your noise.  And from your other post on your auto pilot, I would suspect the same for it.

Rice Crispies sound coming from Skyview screens

Those sounds can often be associated with a poorly made/loose connection. Do you have any butt-connectors in your audio circuits?

    Bread Crumb Trail?

If you don't need real-time viewing on Skyview, you can download the flight logs afterwards and using a program (posted on this forum somewhere), you can import your track into Google Earth. Flightaware shows your past paths, but it won't be as accurate and complete as the Dynon logs.

    Dynon's stash of SV-ADSB-470

What is Dynon doing with all the turned in SV-ADSB-470 units? Any chance they be resold for a low cost?

    Dynon COM weak and broken

I'm not a radio guy, but those aren't good numbers to me. It looks like a cable or antenna issue? Your SWR is high - maxed in one case and above the spec of the antenna for the other two tests. The antenna mfg states a ground plane of "46 inch in diameter for the VHF antennas". Do you have a...

    Updated documentation

It's been asked many times at this point. http://dynonavionics.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1494255478 http://dynonavionics.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1498760928 They did reply on the second link, but the days keep moving on. I do hope someone asks them at Airventure.

    Re: SkyView software 15.2.0 PIREP?

Yea, you've missed a whole lot. Go look at the changes. I count around 40. Some are small and some are big. But let's assume what you suggested is the only change. Just the one. It still needs to be fully documented!!! You shouldn't be searching an internet forum to learn a procedure...

    Re: SkyView software 15.2.0 PIREP?

And if anyone here is going to AirVenture and Dynon still doesn't update their manuals in full, please go to their booth and grill them. It might be the only way to get an answer.

    Re: SkyView software 15.2.0 PIREP?

Wow, still no manuals! Providing manuals is a good thing! It makes you appear like a professional company and not someone working out of their garage. I used to promote Dynon Skyview locally, but I think I'm going to stop. At this point, it's embarrassing. Ugh, turn to Garmin now?....

Nah, not wasted space. Dynon has it right. No need to change it.

    ADS-B

I'm guessing he is in Clayton, MI. For the serial connection, you have consistent "good sentences" and low error count? What antenna are you using and have you confirmed good connections?

What certified GPS equipment is needed for IFR

They can't. Full stop. It's experimental. Just a side note on Rotax in general. Several times they have overstepped their authority on S-LSA. Trying to force Rotax provided training and force hose replacements at set intervals. The FAA then had to clarify that Rotax didn't have the...
