    You seemed to pretty heavily imply it!  No.  The ASTM standards prevent S-LSA's from being equipped IFR at this time.  Being AB or E-LSA doesn't effect anything relative to this. ::)  No one is attempting or suggesting anything not allowed.  I'm not sure what you're reading.

    Nope. You should get red X on the out of date screen until you update it. In terms of abnormal behavior with new updates. I do understand. Like an iPhone update, often it's best to wait until you hear from others that everything is ok.

    That's MLAT tracking, not ADS-B. I'm working it out with the person who write's Flightaware's server software. They made a change recently which is causing the issue. It's NOT a web site setting.
