Dynon has now stated that they are not supporting Excel for Mac. The good new is that it's really easy to make your own checklist with TextEdit.

The SV-GPS-250 doesn't meet 91.227. You will have to replace it with the SV-GPS-2020 to meet 91.227. The new software update just allows you to get traffic with your current setup until December 31, 2019.

I think you've missed the point. The issue is van's choice. It's not Dynon's. Flight Design holds back people despite shipping aircraft with newer versions. It's their choice.

Well, hold on now. This really doesn't have anything to do with Dynon. This has to do with the way S-LSA regulations work. The manufacture could choose to never allow any updates. They have control. They also could have allowed a blanket LOA (or just have it written in the manual) to allow...

Have you probed the WiFi? This can't be too hard to figure out.

I ran into problems updating to 3609.  Dual 7" skyviews.  The first Skyview updated with no problem.  The next stalled.  I have attached a screenshot.  I had to turn off the power at this point after waiting a 1/2 hour.  It started back up after the power cycle.  It stated the monthly AVDATA was...

Really, if the person you hired person was qualified, it would have have you $1,000. This is more an example of when happens when people don't follow directions and has a false confidence that they know what their doing. I would insist on a refund, as all damages were directly cause by them.

And adding to this question, is there going to be an issue updating? Being that the bug appears to be related to accessing USB drives?

Today, I had a 7" SV freeze updating the monthly Dynon update. Already on v14. I ended up having to disconnect the backup battery, as I didn't remember the force restart sequence. It stuck on 0%.

Do they have backup batteries?

I assume this is about Skyview units? (not posted in SV section). Does holding down button #1 boot it?

??? That's a Female Type A USB connector.

Are you using the USB connections via the harness, or the 2 in the back of the screen? The harness USB for both my 7" Skyviews are unreliable.
