    Time for change.

Well, just ordered the 10 inch SkyView. Time to replace the D100 with the HS34 which was been serving me well for several years.  :'( Looking forward to something that somewhat compares to the G1000. Occasionally I fly in a plane with the G1000, so this should help me stay in touch with pushing...

    what's next

Haven't followed much lately. So is there a flight planning software out there to do a flight plan at home and then load it through the USB on Skyview? :D  :D

    SL-30 TO SKYVIEW

For years I've seen the same questions asked about the subject. I know this stuff is in the manual, I've read it. Those few that haven't read the manual need to slow down sit down and read it. then read it again. You may just learn something. There is a lot of good stuff in it.

Skyview data output to external autopilot

Spoke with Trio Avionics yesterday and was told that one user is having no problems with skyview diving the Trio autopilot. But I'm sure not all functions of the skyview are useable on the Trio.  :D

Strange information bottom right of attitude indic

Re: Strange information bottom right of attitude i Oops, no one else has access to my plane, and I was pushing and turning knobs on the HS34, soooo I guess it's pilot induced. I'll play on the next flight and watch for all the new things I can do with buttons. Thanks for the help and the...

    Losing confidence in Dynon

Losing confidence? It sounds like the D180 EFIS is working just fine. Your having a minor problem with the engine/RPM indications side of it. You do have a regular RPM indicator don't you? The D10A another independent unit with a problem. I guess having the D180 as a primary to the D10A was...

    Oil and fuel sensor's

I will be installing a skyview in the near future in a friends plane. But right now I want to install a oil pressure and fuel pressure gauge. What I need to know is what sensor's will work with the skyview that I can still use with a elect gauge in the panel now? What combination or sets do I...

    Circuit breaker pops

You can also use an auto fuse block with the correct fuse. I see you have an RV 10, so you maybe can afford the aircraft type. Just a thought  ;)http://dynonavionics.com/public_html/yabbfiles/Templates/Forum/default/wink.gif

    Blind Encoder Installation

A man after my own heart. I have read and reread the manual and found a lot of things that need to be underlined. Questions I have answered on line are in the manual. So if you plan on picking up an EFIS down the road then go ahead and download the current manual and start reading. Become an...

    Future Improvements / Audio

It does sound like the audio would be a benefit, but how did you land now? You most certainly don't want to be pitching and waiting for a warning that may not go off. Not good practice IMHO. To many bells and whistles can kill you. Anyway, landing is somewhat a controlled stall.

    Legibility

Maybe it's time for some better glasses?  ;D cuz those numbers ain't that small in the stranded mode unless you screen is way in front :o.. Just a thought...

    Legibility

One more note. I also always fly with the screen split with the nav information displayed. I use the vor and gps info. My story and I sticking to it! ;)

    Legibility

I may be lucky I'm 56 still not required to wear glasses on my flight phys "comm/inst pilot". I have the D100 bright screen and was flying the other day with the sun directly over my back and on the D100 screen. I had no problems seeing the screen and all information on it. So if you do have...
