    Class B altitudes

My point exactly-I see the airspace but because LA airspace is so busy the D numbers, which are the same color as B seems to get mixed in with the B airspace and I can not see altitudes (unless I move the joystick to where it is showing) Dynon-I have the 1/10/13 database and obstacle installed...

    firmware updates for 2013

Looking to see if this is still on the list. I was vectored to intercept a flyway today in the busy LAX airspace, I made it work by using D-> to the VOR and waiting until it hit the right degrees than pressed direct to.It would have been nice to have the screen it covered while I kept waiting...

    Class B altitudes

cjhukill- I checked today on a local flight and you are correct I see C airspace but nothing for B airspace. The C airspace does require a zoom out and it makes it very hard to read the altitudes. Glad this is a known issue and will be rectified in the coming weeks. Hopefully with the numbers...

    Class B altitudes

I have no problem reading the numbers with v5.0, but I agree I need to scroll out to see the various altitudes for not only B but C as well, which is basically my whole area in LAX area. Be great if the numbers could move with the zoom level so when viewed from 5,8, 12 miles one can easily see...

    Skyview 5.1 features

Any hints on what we may see in the next release (5.1 in early 2013)? Thanks!

Sounds like, the no longer available, Vertical Power-VP-200. Does all this and datalogging too ;)

    Skyview 5.0 upload failure

Support; If I make the EMS setting change before the upgrade would this avoid there being an issue? I am all for every precaution to avoid trying to disconnect cables from behind my panel (should I see the same issue). Possible patch perhaps? I can wait if so. Thank you!

    Fuel level calibration

Keep in mind that it may max the floats out at 19 or so gallons. Based on the wing angle on the RV tanks the floats will peak before the rest of the tank is actually full. For my 30 gallons I stop at 24 gallons (aka no change at 26 gallon measurement) that's normal is all I'm getting at.

    Fuel level calibration

Basically you add 2 gallons and press a button to reflect that quantity. I have a 30 gallons tank and at 24 gallons (RV) the floats are maxed. However there is only a certain numbers of steps available, so you can do 1 gallon, or 3 gallon each step, it's up to you. Check the manual and determine...

    firmware updates for 2013

Thank you for the response. Really all I want is to turn a knob to center a needle when taken off course by ATC, versus the few button presses I currently need to do. Via flt Plan, and know when i am at a point off a radial, I agree everything else can be done with what is already there

    firmware updates for 2013

I may be misreading what this means but the MGL avionics GVOR has a primary and secondary. Being it is GPS driven I assume they are both GPS http://www.mglavionics.com/html/gvor_and_gls.html

    firmware updates for 2013

I agree one can use a RNAV point 10/7/5 miles from a airport and that will line you up, actually that is exactly what I do, however there is far more that Virtual VOR can do to assist in the cockpit management. I used virtual VOR on a portable once and it added a great benefit to cockpit...

    firmware updates for 2013

You guys are doing a great job with the updates and releases. Any chance of adding more information on the webpage "coming soon" section; The "Top secret" section has many future (appears to be way future) updates and the "coming soon" appears to be more nearer future. Right now there is...

    firmware updates for 2013

With your release of the ADS-B hardware, there is mention that the software will be released in a few weeks (sure better than months) Also Rev M looks like a release date of December 2012, hopefully that means a christmas gift of release 5.0. Can you share where the development has progressed...

    firmware updates for 2013

Virtual VOR was supposed to be in a previous release, so hopefully it will make the next. It really is a great feature that is lacking in the Skyview. I second Virtual VOR

    XW/ Winds Aloft Display

weird controller- in SoCal all my Pireps are winds FROM, they are more interested in the condition of the winds- chop, moderate, etc, and cloud altitudes. Also I think having winds TO would really confuse things as all ATIS/AWOS, and yes even controllers, give winds FROM.

    Missing audio warnings

Same scenario as Supercub. When I originally set it all up both displays worked. I thought to test this and same situation. Verified that the wires are connected for both displays but only the primary display has audio nothing heard when I go to the secondary display setup "test" The connection...

    what's next

After flying around the south of the US last summer, I came to the conclusion that if I needed to land quickly (emergency) I would need to figure out all these calculations while trying to get the plane setup for a landing strip. Having a VS to destination allows me to figure out really quickly...

RED CUBE fuel flow calibration number?

there are rumors that if the cube is between the electronic and engine fuel pump that the number gets boosted when the electronic is on.. but that should not be much. As mentioned above less than .4- but that is to your advantage- it means you actually have up to .4 MORE fuel than it shows. Do...

    Importing Flight Plans

Note that this feature is for premium members, which anyone can be for a small cost. Their other version is outstanding as well. I use iflightplanner on my Ipad as a back-up reference when flying since I can load flightplans created on the computer, seamlessly, to the ipad. I believe the next...
