A BIG plus one on the highway in the sky!!! And back to basics, where's the engine data logging?!?! Not nearly as sexy as VPX support but the effort put in to VPX support could have resulted in a lot more "fundamental" features that we're currently lacking. Craig

Pilot error. The Skyview receives data when the GPS has established it's location. On a cold start that can take a while, clearly I'm too impatient. 8-) Thanks for the support Dynon.

Re: GPS "issues" GPS is on Serial port 1.  Firmware is 3.1.1 It certainly seems like a software bug as it is somewhat intermittent and can always be eventually cleared by power cycling the Skyview. Except for VERY brief pauses in updates on the screen, it never loses sync once established. Craig

Re: GPS "issues" I see no data. If I go in to the setup page and check the status of the serial port it shows no data transmission. If I power cycle the Skyview, it almost always syncs up with the GPS and everything looks normal. NMEA is set to Normal. Craig

Re: GPS "issues" Yes. I have it set as the Navsrc by default. All I have to do is power the Skyview down, back up and it will sync.

I've JUST completed my Skyview installation and noticed a couple of things: 1). Unless I start the 496 up and have it ready to navigate BEFORE powering up the Skyview,  the Skyview does not receive the GPS data.  Only the receive line is connected on serial port 1. 2) With Synthetic vision on...

Dear Dynon, I am replacing the DPS Instruments SmartTach as part of my Skyview upgrade. From the instruction manual it is difficult to confirm if it is using the standard or low voltage level for RPM measurement. The manual does reference that the voltage should cycle from 7/10v to 5+V so...

Hi, If I am reading the installation manual correctly, I can connect an OAT to the EMS module for cabin temp but in order to calculate TAS, etc, it needs to be connected to the ADAHRS. Is this correct? Regards, Craig

Re: SkyView 3.0 Is Released - Manuals Hi, Very excited about 3.0.  My question is in relation to the installation/user manuals.  How about publishing the updated page numbers of even an addendum version?  I hate to kill another tree re-printing complete copies of both manuals.   ::) Thanks! :)
