    Stevec - you are correct, the # 149 mount will not fit the 6 as they are for the 7/9's. Dampening is not ideal, just beef up the mount.

    Post 3 alluded to a possible cause - check that the pins/sockets are seated fully (checked by a light pull on the wire) as a multimeter check will not show that, it will only show continuity -if you haven't already done this.;)

    :rolleyes: some listen, read, take note & make up their own mind. the smarter ones know that for IFR they would not mount a single Gps antenna in the cowl area. VFR ? who cares ? if the antenna fails they can always just look out the window or at an ipad etc. BTW - my Gps antenna has survived...

    yes, do the zero airspeed calibration however you should also check that there is no kinking of the tubing involved with the gear alert system.

    Yes, they are different. Check out the section in the install manual version AG (15.4) starting at page 17-1 if it’s the Trig remote ‘box’ or 16-1 when using the Dyson slimline model (black). Do NOT mix them up. HTH

    Do you have the Dynon supplied ethernet cable ? Did it ever work properly in the past ? If not, then buy a new Dynon cable, the fault is most likely the cable or a damaged ethernet connection IMO.

    Some like to have the autopilot system independent from the EFIS too, depends on what you are comfortable with.
