Did you only check the voltage on the wire from the D37, or the male pin at the box ? If no or low volts on the wire then I would recheck with using another wire at pin 15, sometimes there can be a bad crimp or the female socket is not 'clicked' into place properly. I've never seen a failure...

Thought so re 14 - FWIW, I never use those ‘cheap’ connectors & prefer dsub connectors for more essential to flight equipment like a/pilot servos & trim systems YMMV. ps - I have a customer who insisted on replacing the supplied wiring loom & replaced it with a straight through system...

That was a quick find, not always easy to troubleshoot ‘issues’. Was that on an RV14 ?

Did u do a system Configure to ‘ allow’ control of the servo ?

Contact Dynon Support, it's normally a damaged knob issue. Don't use contact cleaner least you create a bigger problem.

Some people have not connected pin 20 & the system still works as advertised - up to you.

Pat, the MESSAGE button on the bottom RHS of the screen already 'acknowledges' the warning'. ALT light is for the Alternator, previous owner wanted to keep it that way.;)

I'd have thought that was obvious - Dynon use Trig for their Transponders too. Dynon don't build Tso'd equipment at this stage & maybe never need to.

Why doesn't it 'see' the Roll Servo' ? Did you do a system Config ? All wiring correct ? I wouldn't spend too much time over what you ask, it's more important to have both working, disconnect the Pitch servo & see what happens.

Disconnect the 'keep alive' wire if you haven't done so, Dynon has said, many times, that it should be disconnected.

Galin - Not exactly sure what you mean here . I could have gone through the ARINC Conv however I went straight from my IFD to the a/pilot as the Dynon won't 'control' the a/p, you knew that anyway. I'll PM you.

As Raymo says, however Dynon calls for it to be disconnected permanently.

Nothing 'fixes' itself, it just goes away to bite you another day - unless of course you did something unknowingly while checking connections etc that did 'fix' it ;).
