JR It's not just the battery type, there is some unique to Dynon circuitry involved - you need to get the Dynon one.

FWIW - another data point. I have had no issues with v14. Dual Sv's but no A/p system or Knob panel fitted - yet.

I got the same on a new install with v14, rebooted (after double checking the wiring) & all is good. ;)

At least now we know what caused the issue - suggest you mount it as high as you can, maybe use p clips onto the top tube of the engine mount - that's what I did with my Glasair & on other installations I've done. The MAP sensor may be u/s now but mount it higher & see how it works out, worse...

The RX from Dynon Gps is what you're looking for, if the counter is not moving then you won't be getting the data needed  ;)

Steve, is the map sensor at a much higher level than the cylinder pickup point ? It should be ;)

FWIW - I set the squelch levels during a climb (high power = the loudest it's going to get) & start at a very low setting so squelch is really open.  Then increase until ambient noise doesn't 'break' squelch anymore.  Speaking into the mic should then break squelch, works for me  ;)
