    Incorrect altitude indication on D10-A

Dynon are on holidays so I will offer my $0.22 inc GST Have you checked the static port line near the D10A? It might be possible during the work a line has been crimped or similar....or for some strange reason plugged, or left open and a bug built a new home in there. Where in Australia are...

Static ports located on Pitot/AOA probe

Fly a GPS box amd post the results as follows; Fly the aircraft in smooth air, and hold a constant airspeed. Take note of the Dynon EFIS TAS. This is the TAS you want for each leg of the GPS test. Now fly 4 legs in TRK mode (0/90/180/270) on your Autopliot because it is easier, to hold the...

    RV-10 Pitch Servo Bracket

Update, I have been testing the new SV42T and it would seem that this servo, which carries the "special device" or linear capstan. Set to 100% torque seems to be the go. For Roll servo, use the SV52 and set it to the 85-90% range and use the middle hole. :)

    Dedicated Knob Modgule

HS34 and AP74 are great in real IFR. The Skyview system needs this also. I hate having the HDG/ALT/BARRO move around. It is a big down side for sure on otherwise a nice system

    D-180 % power settings

And remember that on the RICH side of peak your % power is determined by the combination of MAP and RPM, and a result from the power tables. Once you are on the LEAN side of peak, the power is simply fuel flow in US GPH x 14.9 = HP Hope this helps.

Buy a new one, and sell the old one to another builder.

    Airspeed Calibration

Maybe your analog unit is incorrect. I found our Dynon Classic panels to be more accurate than the certified test equipment we used for pitot / static tests. The calibration chart for the equipment was such that we were giving more accurate raw data. :)

    Skyview autopilot for ILS approach

...........and does it very well. I can't wait for the advanced stuff either, but you should hand fly these things SOME TIMES :D

Upset in IMC in a military Jet

Please report back here also, it may be a one off defect in that unit, but we would all like to know the outcome.

Rough air mode for A/P ???

http://www.dynonavionics.com/docs/Autopilot_intro.html Have a look at the AP76, when and I am forever believing when the development in the skyview gets to the advanced stages, both the Skyview and Classic panels will hopefully have the TRB mode. Time will tell.

If it were not such a massive job to change....i would think about it and probably give in! 8-)

    User Waypoints

So how does the dynon take waypoints from FP3000 in? it will be an unidentified point in space I assume? In my case I use FP3000 and have Dynon classic panels, with Garmin GPS for IFR ops. In the RV7A I am flight testing it is just Skyview. No user waypoints at all. If you could load a plan...

    User Waypoints

Hello Dynon, I am sure some folk will have asked this before, but here goes anyway......future releases should have the capability to creat user waypoints from the panel, not via Google Earth. There are many many times when this is required and at times you are away from a PC and internet...

Punctual Hdg Failure with a D-100

I have had a magnatometer failure, out of three units and a few thousand hours of up time I am probably one of very few, but you may have one too. And it was a bit random, although it failed completely eventually.

    NAVSRC LOST

I am sure Dynon are working on it, the problem would appear to be the serial output from the Garmin handhelds. For anyone reading this, I use the GNS530W and it communicates via ARINC429 to the HS34. Has anyone tried sending data to the EFIS via a HS34? I can't think why unless you were using...

    Uncommanded turns

no What aircraft, what mode were you in and what nav device are you using to feed the A/P? What size servo are you using? Were you in turbulence?

Autopilot wandering in Trk and Nav mode.

Also check these two things, The middle hole is used on the servo arm and that the shear screw has not broken....... ;)

    Skyview autopilot

I believe you have a static source error. Most likely an insect built a nest in your static and or possibly the pitot tube. My bet is there is water in your static line. Also when you do your engine runup, there is a large change in air pressure around the static source point, this only...
