    Approved for IFR

Yep And it works REALLY well, especially when you will be single pilot IFR, the AP74 and autopilot system are a must. You will need a HS34 for the ARINC 429 connection. I can't be happier, well maybe dual skyviews and the new GTN's, but for now its fantastic.

    RV-10 Pitch Servo Bracket

I have had very good results especially with V5.4 software. I would talk to Lawrence at Dynon about the servo recomendation. We found the SV52 was required and set the torque to 90% on pitch and 80% on roll. We also had to increase the resolution on the pitch axis with a special...

    problem on pitch axis

leave it set to 500ft/ min. I now have 700. In turbulence you should pull the power back and disconnect the ALT function and hand fly the vertical. Leave the HDG / TRK / NAV engaged if you want.

    AP74 in Cold Weather

Well on a really cold morning here it might get to 4 degrees C :) No problem here!

    problem on pitch axis

Try winding up the Pitch ALT and VSI gains. Have a look at the numbers I posted. This aircraft must be fairly slow if its MAX Airspeed is 0nly 102 knots.

    NAVSRC LOST

One of the RV8's that I fitted the AP to last year is reporting the odd nav drop out on a Garmin hand held also running 5.4. DB :)

    problem on pitch axis

This is for an RV10 with SV52's so the torque values you will find different but this might give you a clue. I think your gains are too low. Also follow the instructions and tune as you need. Here are the pitch and roll servo settings.

    AP-74 disconnecting unexpectedly.

And if you can use a shielded twisted pair for the DSAB.

    Fuel tank change alarm

time based might be better......... If you have a Garmin 296/396/495/496 they have a fuel tank timer built in, just set that for what ever time interval you want. It starts once you are airborne I think. We use it and it works well. :)

    Does Dynon emulate GPSS?

.........But 12 standards have to be better than one! ;D

    EMS sensors

For the sake of a few hundred dollars, buy the whole pack. At least you then start with a known quantity and if you are debugging afterwards you have a better idea where to start. DB ;)

    RV-10 Pitch Servo Bracket

Which servo have you used? I would strongly encourage you to talk to Robert Hamilton at Dynon about the servo selection. RV10's need the SV52 we found........ Talk to Rob he is a top bloke and will sort you out. DB ;) If you have any -10 questions please PM or email me.

    Heading Calibration

Best you have everything running, as that is the state you will be flying in. If you do not want to have the engine running, make sure everything else is. DB :)

    AP cutting out

Check your AP disconnect wiring and switches for grounding. If you have the aural warnings setup you would have heard a disconnect, but if not you may not be aware.

Software 5.4 for EFIS D10 A on an MCR01 Sporster

Re: Software 5.4 for EFIS D10 A on an MCR01 Sporst My thoughts.....and Brantel has more time on this than me, and a closer setup, butI would drop the sensitivity down a bit, say 20-22. Maybe the wallowing is from slip, if the Yellow indication comes up its slip, so increase your torque to...

Software 5.4 for EFIS D10 A on an MCR01 Sporster

Re: Software 5.4 for EFIS D10 A on an MCR01 Sporst OK, just to help or confuse you. I have found the VS function to be performing well, but I never see it nail the VS exactly, but having said that its pretty good overall. I have had some time to play with the AP in some bumpy conditions and...

    D6 airspeed calibration

What do you mean BUSTED.......... I think you are BUSTED BACK ;D Harvey simply stated he used a water manometer....maybe a home made and graduated one, or was it a prefssionally built and certified and recently tested one with release papers to prove its calibration? Most likely not, and in...

    D6 airspeed calibration

And my bet is the Dynon was more accurate than your manometer! ;)
