I have the same issue. The latest SA downloads with version 14.2.1. I also tried the "fix".

Dynon has a very recent diagnostic file sent for case #223031 however a recent flight was reported as working fine. No changes were made between the bad and good reports.

I received the same results for NIC and NACp.   Virtually identical numbers as above post.  A recent flight showed all OK. No changes between flights.

There are many complaining of the same issue on the Vans Air Force website. This has been happening from day 1--- through many firmware upgrades. I wouldn't describe it as pulsing but rather hunting plus and minus in 100 foot cycles.

How does the glide ring calculate in changing terrain? Does it use an average AGL or some other method?

The pilots operating handbook only says to configure the glide ring in the setup pages. The installation manual has a single obscure sentence that states that you have to set the 2 parameters in different setup menus. Why not have all pertinent information in the operating section? After all...

I did not see the red x. Just the identical msg and situation as the OP.

I had the same thing happen as the OP. I don't believe that I left the display on. The battery charged back up and has been normal since.

Check that the serial port is still configured correctly for your ADSB box. Also you must have satellite reception before the msg will disappear now --- new with 12.2.

Mine does seem to be only when there is no GPS lock. No offline flag once locked. Never saw it before 12.2.

Have you done a network configuration?  See install manual for step by step instructions.  Easy to do and should fix your issues. Make sure your autopilot power is on during the config.

I have had this issue when trying to send freqs to the SL30. Only happens since 10.* installed.

I also would prefer to have the track line not show up after I've turned it off. Would rather have it default to the last selection.

Dynon will respond and get you going. Don't expect any help from Seattle Avionics.
