    Skyview and 430W question

Well I updated to the latest and it held just fine on an ILS and 2 RNAVs. Now I just need to address why the autopilot is so aggressive at intercepting a course when I hit the Nav button. Didn’t do that before.

    Skyview and 430W question

That is a great question. Looks like I need to go and shoot them again and pay attention to the flight director this time. Oh well, another excuse to go fly. :)

    Skyview and 430W question

Nope, only about 5 knots. It did it again at another airport too. Always to the left for some reason too.

    Skyview and 430W question

Hello everyone, today the RV and I were shooting an LPV with my new to me 430W and noticed with autopilot on it follows glideslope insanely well but about 4 miles out from the runway it wasn't keeping the HSI centered (about 1/4 scale off by the time I got almost to the runway). I have gone...

I need help understanding/troubleshooting fuel level sensor.

Steve you may be on to something. Just to update everyone on a new finding. Anytime I fill up it shows zero. In fact it always shows zero until I have about 5-6 gallons left in the tank. When the fuel level drops to this amount it works perfectly every-time. Sooooo... looks like I get to...

I need help understanding/troubleshooting fuel level sensor.

Yep this is a standard Van’s sender. When I installed it I took extra special care to ensure there was a good ground path through the screws. I metered it and ohm checked it. All worked great on installation which is why I’m confused this would just pop up like it has.

I need help understanding/troubleshooting fuel level sensor.

Hello everyone! I have the Dynon HDX in an RV-7A. Lately my left tank fuel sensor has not been working (reads zero, occasionally shows a fuel quantity but mostly just zero). It does usually work to some degree when tanks get to below half. If it is full it almost always shows 0 gal. It was...

    AP Panel wiring issues/question

Ya after checking some of the wiring and it appearing to be correct I think that switching pin 9 would be the best method instead. It's just driving me crazy not knowing how else they are getting ground!

    AP Panel wiring issues/question

On the AP panel can someone confirm or deny that the ground on Pin 2 (for use with trim motors) and the ground through the network are internally connected? I was trying to interrupt pin 2 ground with a switch to kill motors. The motors however still work even after disconnecting the pin 2...

    Question arinc-429 wiring

It probably didn't achieve anything per your post above where you say it works fine without it. However, if for some reason it didn't, it achieved me not having to lay under my panel in an uncomfortable position, bloody hands from reaching up to get into the connector and more bloody hands to...

    Question arinc-429 wiring

This may be a silly question but here it goes. I wired the arinc-429 for a Garmin 430 connection per figure 153 in the manual. I was double checking before installation and noticed that on the pinout pin 20 is a ground. This is not shown on figure 153. Do I need a ground on pin 20? Thanks!
