    Does Dynon emulate GPSS?

"unless it is connected to a GPS that outputs GPSS over Arinc429." ........or you have the Apollo GX series (software later than 3.2, I think) which gives GPSS without ARINC. ;) Jake J

    Prewire for OAT

Vern For you prewire is the way to go - all you will have to do (later) then is cut the OAT wire shorter & add the 2 pin connector, of your choice, at the probe end & cut off the prewired sockets (supplied crimped to the wiring supplied with ADAHRS & OAT) & join them to the ADAHRS end later...

    Prewire for OAT

Hi Vern Why don't you install a 2 core wire with 2 pin connector near the OAT end (I usually have a join about 1 ft from it) then add the SV ADAHRS OAT connector later ? This makes it all much more serviceable IMO. cheers, Jake J

    Heading Calibration

All compass calibrations should be done with everything on that is normally on in flight, including headsets, if you want complete accuracy and compliance with the rules & commonsense ;) Jake J

    CHT problems on Jabiru 3300

Here's an interesting developement http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Li9LiDYGQOQ re the CHT's and Jabby engines - maybe the higher temps issue that some are having will be resolved. Jake J ;)

My experience has been with the J3300 engine and use 100K, 10K seems too low. Jake J

    tacho problem

Firstly I'd try connecting to the other alternator output wire and see how it goes. If that doesn't work you may have to add a resistor, experiment with different sizes (values), starting at say 30K Ohm. HTH Jake J :)

    SV-GPS-250 Not Detected

DS If others have similar problems you may want to get them to 'wriggle' the wire very close to the antenna (I now use a 9 pin Dsub connector within 6" of it for ease of installation etc) while watching the counter - the wires weren't obviously damaged, on the one here, however the 'problem'...

    SV-GPS-250 Not Detected

Those counters are real handy 'diagnostics' tools - if they're counting then the wires aren't the issue. Jake J

    SV-GPS-250 Not Detected

I have seen one where the wiring appeared to be ok but was found to be damaged at the antenna end probably caused by 'rough' handling. Jake J

Skyview / D100 GPS signal sharing

Brian You can split it ok. No need to buy the Dynon Gps puck however it will give you redundancy at a reasonable price. Jake J

    Flap position overspeed alarm?

In the meanwhile it would be simple to wire a 'contact' alarm using a micro switch (for when flap is off the stops) and a airseed switch (set for the speed you want) in series. Just a suggestion ;) Jake J
