Is it possible to eliminate the round airport symbol when the runways are shown on the map? No need for two symbols and it blocks out the runways at a larger range. This is Jeppesen North America data. And yes it seems that the majority of small airports are missing from the data.

I'd check the SV System Installation Guide - Altitude Encoder Calibration - page 11-14. Technically the encoder is in the SV, but for all intense purposes the xponder is made to only connect to the SV so you can say it has it's own encoder.

Looks good. The GPS 250 should be connected to both SV's also. You might want to leave the SV audio unconnected for now. I was getting a popping sound so I disconnected mine and it went away.

A device can only receive information from one source or the data stream get garbled. Just an update. I turned the sensitivity of the pitch servo from 12 to 15. The servo now keeps it closer to the target altitude so the magnitude of the pitch adjusted is smaller and the TRIM warning doesn't come on as much. Changing altitude does require trim adjustments but that I believe is...

Probably the magnetic compass needs to be re-calibrated. I think they subtract ground track (GPS) from magnetic bearing and air speed to get winds aloft.

This has been discussed before. I think it's a great idea as the EMS screens are completely customizable. But until someone comes up with an application to read the EMS file and allow interactive modification on a computer we're stuck with SV editor or hand coding. :-/ See here...

From the main menu of the SV press the SCREEN button. From there you can turn on and off the three pages available PDF PG | EMS PG | MAP PG. The Layout button lets you arrange them as you like.

I believe you need to download the new Dynon USR Export function and recreate the waypoints. You can then load them back in.

Bear - I have it trimmed and fiddle with it constantly but pitch is extremely sensitive on the early short coupled Glasairs. A little pressure on the stick is all that is required to change altitude and the pitch trim springs are fairly tight so I'm amazed at how well the AP altitude hold works...

True. If I ignore the TRIM warning it still seems to maintain the altitude. I've only done limited testing. I try and adjust the sensitivity and see if that helps.
