    Phone service broken ??

I have been trying to reach Dynon support all day (at 425 402-0433) and the phone service at that number seems to be disconnected or out of service, or something... Has anyone else seen this?

    Intermittent "SV-AP-PANEL offline" message.

Got the new AV-PANEL, and installed it. But same issues are reoccurring! If DB15 trim connector is attached, network cannot see the Panel. Interesting test behavior is that if both DB15 trim and network connectors are attached, when I boot up (cold start) the system, the trim switches work...

    Intermittent "SV-AP-PANEL offline" message.

Well, Tech support agrees likely cause is the SV-AP-PANEL. They are RMA'ing me a replacement. We will see what happens with the new part.

    Intermittent "SV-AP-PANEL offline" message.

More info: When I remove DB15 pin from back of SV-AP-PANEL, the Skyview Network Configuration Detect process sees the PANEL, and it works as it used to, as expected. But when I attach the DB15 connector, network detect fails to detect the PANEL. I get a red error message in Network Configuration...

    Intermittent "SV-AP-PANEL offline" message.

I am suddenly getting this message intermittently. When it happens, and I run the Network configuration Detect function, it fails to find the AP-Panel. But if i shut down and restart the HDX, it finds it okay. I have checked that the connections are tight, and the pinouts on the network wires...

    Garmin GPS 175 Installation

Have had the same experience with simple VOR/ILS receiver.

    Garmin GPS 175 Installation

Awesome, thanks! By the way, is the purpose of connecting the GPS 175 to the ADS-B Out only to provide the ADS-B Out with lat-long data? Because I already have it connected to the Dynon GPS-2020, Is it advisable to use the GPS175 data over the Dynon GPS 2020 data?

    Pitch Oscillations

Thanks! Confirms my suspicions... I know where to go first now to fix this! I used a clamp with rubber between metal clamp and push rod... Need to put a different claim that is metal on metal and put a small set screw or a small bolt through the clamp and push rod to tighten and prevent slippage.

    Garmin GPS 175 Installation

Should I use the same pinouts for the Garmin GPS175 db25 connector as are specified for the Garmin 430/530 in the SV-ARINC-429 Installation section of the Skyview Installation guide (Figure 156 on pg 12-6 through 12-8) ? (ignoring the VOR/ILS stuff)

    Pitch Oscillations

Am I correct that a small amount of play in the connection between Pitch Servo pushrod and the pushrod it attaches to (between the Stick and the Elevator BellCrank) cause the Autopilot to oscillate up and down around the target altitude in Altitude Hold ?

    Screen Protectors

Thanks for your reply. I will go for it. Your HDX screen seem sto take minor abuse well, but an extra layer of protection seems a good idea. hate to scratch screen on $4000 component!

    Screen Protectors

Anyone have any experience with adding Screen protectors to the HDX screen? I am looking at product from Photodon... Dynon SkyView HDX 1100 10-inch Panel Display Screen Protector (photodon.com) Does it negatively impact touch functionality or anti-glare visibility or clarity at all?

    Network cable pinout wiring

Yes, that simple rule would have saved me much confusion, but I relied on left-right interpretation of pictures labeled "View from the back", and ended up reversing things. and to make the confusion worse, since I used reversed cables from components to hub, AND from HUB to HDX, I was reversing...

    Network cable pinout wiring

Yes! That may have contributed to my confusion when I originally built the network wires. In hindsight, for a network connection wire, front, back, insertion side, numbers, none of that really matters. What matters is that all the wires are in the same hole on both ends, (which in my confusion...

    Network cable pinout wiring

Your image shows pin 1 as being on right side of top row (row with 5 pins), so it is looking from the back, where you insert the pins, right? Anyway, I now have a tentative hypothesis about what is happening. I think when I wired the cable coming from the EMS, three years ago, I miswired it and...

    Network cable pinout wiring

When creating my own Skyview Network cable, I thought I should connect pin1 to pin1 , pin2 to pin2, etc., all the way to pin9 connected to pin9. But when you look at the end of the female DB-9 connectors on a network cable that shipped with my Dynon HDX system, and do a continuity check on them...

Com Not OnLine and transmission weak and unreadable with no sidetone.

Also, fwiw, the radio began transmitting okay day before yesterday, and sidetones came back. Also, the ability to transfer frequencies from HDX database into SV- COM-PANEL began to work again. However, the missing items on HDX screen are still missing.

Com Not OnLine and transmission weak and unreadable with no sidetone.

Have already, and after checking wiring continuity (all were good), consensus was to RMA it back to you. It was delivered to your offices this morning at 10:59 am. As mentioned in enclosed letter, if at all possible, I would prefer to get the newer SV-COM-T25 transceiver unit (from Trig) rather...

Com Not OnLine and transmission weak and unreadable with no sidetone.

Today I had issue with Transmitter on Com Transceiver (SV-COM-C25 with SV-COM-425). Reception was fine on all frequencies, but I could hear no side tone when I pushed PTT button and spoke, and although ground control could hear me but said that my transmissions were weak and unreadable. When I...
