New feature request: Copy flight plan

Does this mean for some period of time you would be flying on an IFR flight plan without using approved IFR equipment?

    ADSB In and FLARM

Read Skyview System Installation Guide Revision AF page 4-24 for a discussion. I'm not sure - aren't there several versions of FLARM in Europe?

    How to copy flight plan

If you save a copy of the flight plan on the GTN, are you not able to retrieve it after the restart? This does not answer your question about copying it to the SV, but may be a way to quickly retrieve the original flight plan if it is saved in the GTN catalog.

    Transponder Serial Number?

I'm sorry to hear of your challenge. Sometimes a cell phone camera (even shooting "blind") or borescope or even a mirror on a stick has helped me.

What Garmin Subscription Should I get???

And for those of us who don't use Foreflight? What would it cost to buy the iPad and Foreflight compared with Seattle Avionics or some other alternative?

Checklist made easily and uploaded to HDX

Will knock-off spreadsheet programs such as LibreOffice work? I guess I can check that, just wondered if anyone knew up front.

    EMS data log

I use LibreOffice instead of Microsoft. That does not answer your question about how to analyze it, but you can at least read it.

SkyView D1000T Radio on Top Line

I have 2 SV D1000T and 2 SV C25 radio panels. As I've said in another post, the standby frequency on the radio panels can be hard to read. I can get one radio to display on the Top Line of the SV D1000T. To do that I have to check YES and also have to designate a primary radio. I tried and...

    Radio Entry Readability

The radio panel changes a little - very little - when I change the DIM function on the D1000T display. Dynon says maybe it's as good as it's going to get (I sent them photos) and they put their engineers on it.

    Radio Entry Readability

The frequency entry panels on my Dynon radios are pretty dark. The numbers do not have good contrast so I'm continuously squinting and sometimes just counting clicks to be sure I'm on the right frequency. I don't like this and am looking for ways to get better contrast or definition of the...

    Optimizing Pitch Trim

Can I use the VSI indicator on SkyView D1000T to optimize my pitch trim setting in auto pilot mode? I have SkyView D1000T on my Flight Design CTSW which has manual three-axis trim. Imagine a scenario in which I climb in autopilot to cruise altitude whereupon the AP levels the plane...

Skyview HDX Doesnt Recognize latest U.S. aviation and obstacle database file (May21-June17)

I had missed this information before and it is almost certainly the reason I couldn't seem to upload Dynon databases because I always leave the Seattle sticks in the panel! Duh!

    Lean find mode

I'm sure you detected that I spoke of setting the Rotax 912ULS up to run LOP with tongue in cheek. I guess you can call the Rotax 912ULS an ROP engine. It uses Bing 64 carbs which are constant velocity carburetors and thus it internally adjusts fuel flow to match air velocity up until it runs...

    Lean find mode

David, your comments lead me to do some more research and I ended up back at references and research at GAMI and with Mike Busch. Thanks for prodding me to refresh my memory. I'm satisfied that I know how and why I am going smoothly and quickly through peak EGT and I will no longer discuss it...

    Lean find mode

Since peak is an undesirable state and one doesn't want to go through it slowly, why go through it quickly and then go back to it as a reference point before going LOP again? It's been 10 years since I ran LOP in a Continental IO540, so my experience may be dated and i am not trying to advise...
