What is the voltage on the red wire at the sensor ?

Just had a wild thought - did you connect the Fuel Flow or other 12 volt wire to it ? The White/ red stripe 5volt wire is the only one to use.

Ron, FWIW - there is something else going on with your system, probably a wiring issue IMO. There is absolutely no need to add resistors to the P-Mag tach outputs from my experience with having installed many of them.

I'd be checking the sensor wire ( not the 5volt or ground) carefully, make sure the pin is pushed fully home in the 37pin connector on the EMS module. HTH

Can you post a picture of the Input Mapping screen ?

You will need to set engine type to OTHER then make sure the rest of the sensors are set correctly. It's all in the install manual under EMS Configuration ;)

Contact DS, you may have to return the EMS module for a 'fix'.

First thing to check is the Sensor Input Mapping in the EMS Setup.

Did you try changing the PPR ?

Icarus Alt & Format 1 should do it ;) If you decide to use serial only data from D180 to the 250 then set the Dynon to Format 4, that way you have only one wire connecting the 2 units.

There is another 'world' called the rest of us & we use 1090  ;) & UAT is not used, & never will be, here.
