    Hi Bruno Have a read of page 4-7 Rev H manual - it says 5 amp, & yes, always protect the wiring with the CB  :)   Pitot Heat is not 'detected' as such, you can connect the white wire (indicator output) to a 'contact' and configure as Pitot Heat.   ;) Jake J

    Russ I've got the same problem with one of my thumb drives but consider that to be beneficial. What I do is pull out the tongue' then squeeze the body, between thumb and forefinger, then insert drive. It will work, but because of the faulty units issues, it prevents me from inadvertently...

    Hi Brian My point is this - Dynon supply a USB cable with the Filter Kit, AFAIK you should remove the black USB cable and fit the new one supplied as it's part of the filtering system. ;) Jake J

    Whichever way you wire you will need the 20G for power & ground and they will work with the DB9's.  The A/Pilot power must be on a different circuit to the network power. Jake J

    Hi Bruce All sorts of places, some mount them on the fuselage floor just forward of the electric fuel pump however I prefer to install them after the engine pump. All sorts of locations work but follow the instructions in the manual, wires 'up' and a slight (at least) uphill tilt at the output...

    Craig I haven't experienced this however if you used the supplied 30K oHm then try increasing by 10 or 20 K increments (but no more than 100K max total), that should fix the problem ;) Jake J
