    Jamie, DS I have done a lot of testing in the last 24 hrs with some interesting results, in a certain config of screen/battery positions all is well (ie we haven't done any long flight tests yet) so will give more details in the next day or two as I'm traveling at moment. Jake J

    Some antennas are less sensitive than others to signal strength - my Tso'd Apollo GX60 has never had any issues inside a 1/2" thick fibreglass fuselage. HTH Jake J

    Sure wish you the best here. If it is a bad ground, as you suggested, I'd be checking the crimped on terminals as they can give problems that are sometimes not immediately apparent. Jake J

    Now I understand, you have a Q200 - I know of these (a friend had one). Is there anywhere else suitable you could install the sender ? Or get another better/good quality sender so you don't have to repeat this again ? Jake J

    What DS is saying is that the mounting angle or tilt for eg, say 2 degree of the EFIS, is the same for the Magnetometer ie 2 degree off horizontal so that it is in effect 90 degree to the face of the EFIS - hope I've made this is clear enough ? Jake J
