    Transponder/D100 compatibility

Yeah, and a very happy group IMO as an early adopter of the Apollo 'stack'. Jake J :D

    tacho problem

My experience has been with the J3300 engine and use 100K, 10K seems too low. Jake J

    tacho problem

Firstly I'd try connecting to the other alternator output wire and see how it goes. If that doesn't work you may have to add a resistor, experiment with different sizes (values), starting at say 30K Ohm. HTH Jake J :)

    SV-GPS-250 Not Detected

DS If others have similar problems you may want to get them to 'wriggle' the wire very close to the antenna (I now use a 9 pin Dsub connector within 6" of it for ease of installation etc) while watching the counter - the wires weren't obviously damaged, on the one here, however the 'problem'...

    SV-GPS-250 Not Detected

Those counters are real handy 'diagnostics' tools - if they're counting then the wires aren't the issue. Jake J

    SV-GPS-250 Not Detected

I have seen one where the wiring appeared to be ok but was found to be damaged at the antenna end probably caused by 'rough' handling. Jake J

    Sky View Autopilot

Just a thought - are you using the power wire in the network cable or are the servos powered independently ? Jake J

Skyview / D100 GPS signal sharing

Brian You can split it ok. No need to buy the Dynon Gps puck however it will give you redundancy at a reasonable price. Jake J

    Flap position overspeed alarm?

In the meanwhile it would be simple to wire a 'contact' alarm using a micro switch (for when flap is off the stops) and a airseed switch (set for the speed you want) in series. Just a suggestion ;) Jake J

It would appear that the filters are standard issue with new Skyviews now. Jake J :)

    tacho problem

IMO you should be using an 'even' number - try 4 PPR (6 works for the 3300 Jab). HTH Jake J ;)

    tacho problem

Why did you use 5 ? ::) What does the install amnual say re PPR for 4 cyl engines - when you get that correct you you maystill have rpm instability, but that requires another 'fix' ;) HTH Jake J

    Dynon Interconnect Issues

Don't want to start a war BUT  ;) the avionics industry have been using these Dsub connectors for years in all sorts of aircraft with TSO'd equipment and have proven to be totally reliable, and the best solution for 'connections' IMO. I think the area of concern is poor wire preparation and...

    Recurring Remote Compass issue

Thanks for the reply - knew it had to be a simple solution although hard to get to in your case. For others who are reading this - please use good a quality barrel crimp tool, it could save you a whole lot of frustration ;) Jake J

    New EGTs odd

If the solution is at the Dsub end then this is a common problem - ie the pins , especially 13 & 25 in your case, can retract just by moving the wiring loom. Remove the connector and flex the wiring loom while watching the pins, you'll see what I mean. Jake J
