    Fuel Level Sensors

Carl, I recently installed a new fuel vent system.  The plane is currently devoid of fuel.  The hole for the Fuel Level Sensors will be drilled out next week.  It will be another two weeks before I put fuel back in.  Thanks for the tips - most helpful. Dynon - I will make sure that I save the...

    Wiring Centroid Fuel Probes

Dynon, As usual, you are correct - the probes are Capacitive probes!! Understand do not use Pin # 1 to tap into for power. I currently have Pin #15 for the my Fuel Flow power.  I can easily run a separate line from power bus to power the Capacitive probes.  Thanks  Tim

    Fuel Level Sensors

Folks, I actually did a search for Resistive Fuel Level Sensors, calibration procedures and found little. Per Pages 7-50 through 7-52, I understand that you must make ten (10) level pours of equal volume for both tanks. Can you calibrate 1 gallon X 10, or does it have to be the full tank? Do...

    Volt Issue

Sorry, What I should have said, "when the EMS was working" I received an initial reading of 0 volts.  When flying for a while, I would get a reading 1 volt.  This would indicate the wire was indeed hooked up, and not broken. The EMS now does not show up on the network status - a big red X. I...

    Volt Issue

Dynon, I get a reading of 0.1 volts after flying for a bit.  The EMS does not show up on the network status.  The red light does blink, slowly. I had a similar issue with my ARINC module - the culprit was the Xponder antenna, which I moved to the firewall of the plane, not far from the EMS...

    Volt Issue

New Problem with EMS module - it went offline!!  I turned on the Main Battery, Skyview booted up.  I then looked at the Volts and it read 0 (same issue as below).  I then started the plane up, and then the big Red X was displayed over EMS section. I turned plane off, turned on the Main...

Dynon, I am a BIG supporter of Dynon - LOVE the products!!  The connectivity via Wifi is simply awesome!! I just noticed the new upgrade for Foreflight now has an expanded capability to accomplish the same thing with the GNS 430...BUT, the Ipad/Foreflight will receive ADSB Weather, and...

Sorry,  This is for a Skyview, one 10 inch and a 7 inch. Yes, I am certain it worked before I changed the battery.  EMS works fine, just this change for volts.Tim

    Volt Issue

I recently changed out my 12 volt battery because it was having problems starting the plane after a long cold winter.  I kept it on a trickle charge - but it appears it did not work.  I replaced the battery and the plane (Velocity) starts right up.  However, I am now getting a reading of 0.1...

    Wifi - Foreflight

Folks, I had two separate flights using the Wifi and Skyview - simply it is AWESOME!!  I really like the flight plan capabilities offered in Foreflight, being able to transfer it to the Skyview flight plan is a tremendous capability.  I also have the old Stratus for in flight weather - you...

    Skyview autopilot IFR approaches

Wire Connections for the SV-AP-Panel Trim. I have read the forum, and the installation manual.  I am sorry if this has been covered – just want to get it right. I currently have an electric pitch trim, and trim switch on the control stick. On page 18-7 “Trim control wiring diagram”...

    Garmin GNS 430 configuration

John, I experienced this in my aircraft for quite some time, and tore it apart looking for the problem. Have you checked to see if your ARINC module goes offline when you get this error message? In the end, I moved my Xponer antenna from the nose of the aircraft (Velocity) to the inside...

    V 11 - AP Disconnet Stuck

Dynon, I did speak to tech support.  I have an on/off toggle switch for the autopilot.  Appears this upgrade was supposed to detect for such things. Why is the on/off toggle a bad things?  Tim

    V 11 - AP Disconnet Stuck

Dynon, I understand this is a new feature with V11.  I did read the install instruction.  However, after loading V11 in a flying aircraft,  My disconnect switch is not working, and the warning appears. However, when I go to the AP setup screen, and I test my disconnect switch - it does show...

    Seattle Avionics

Please publish the XP instructions. I have had zero problems with SA until the Charts came out. Yes, I know XP is no longer supported.  I have a MAC with Parallels and XP - Why?  Because Seattle SA is the only program that operates off Windows. Thanks  Tim
