    Servo Body Orientation Question

The servo body would be parallel to the direction of travel of the servo arm and the torque tube tab. The arm would be applying force in line with it's direction of travel. I don't see how it could do other. I don't know how to do a drawing on here. Imagine the servo set up just as you are...

    Servo Body Orientation Question

The servo would mount most easily if I can put the body at an angle to line up with a diagonal brace, but I want to run the lever straight up so it is parallel to the tab on the aileron torque tube. Any problem with installing the servo body on an angle and the lever straight up? Any problems...

    SV-OAT 340 connector

I can't find the 2 pin connector that goes on the end of the wire from the SV-OAT-340 to the ADAHRS or Remote Magnetometer. Can someone give me a source and part number, please? TIA

Thank you. I see 10, not 40, but that will help.

    Forum Navigation

Where can one learn about or discuss forum navigation? Specifically, is there a way to show all new posts when signing on? Most boards offer that feature. I haven't discovered it on this site. I couldn't find any other way to ask this question so feel free to move it or respond privately...

    SV-MAG 236 Installation Question

I am going to install the SV-MAG 236 in between ribs 5 and 6 in the right wing of a RANS S7-S. It is remote from ferrous metal and magnetic disturbances. 1. May I install the OAT in near proximity to the SV-MAG 236? By that I mean within a couple of inches? 2. The SV-MAG 236 product...

    Autopilot in RANS S7S

My friend is building an S20 and as of the middle of February, 2016, the tech support guy at RANS said they are starting to produce mounting kits for the AP servos. Now, whether they are for the Garmin or the Dynon, I do not know, but you could call RANS and find out. I suspect it's a Dynon...

    Re: Pitot Boom Construction

Got a call-back from Dynon and it was a phone issue which has been resolved. Problem has also been resolved. Thanks for the support.

    ID EGT Display?

For airplanes with more than one EGT but not an EGT for each cylinder, can one ID them? E.g., the Rotax 912 I fly has an EGT on #2 and #3. Instead of L and R I'd like to name the 2 and 3. Can I do that?

Wanted: Cruise speed mark on the ASI tape

Could you put a Va adjusted for weight on the speed tape? How about IAS markings for those that use IAS for Vne?

    Reminders?

I like the suggestion. I'd also like to be able to completely shut it off if desired. One thing to think about is the discussion it might generate by passengers not aware of aviation issues if it pops up. There are things that are legal and even OK that might cause unwarranted concern by...

    3 axis

It is my experience that the FD CT series with it's long, flat tanks, needs considerable attention to yaw in cruise or one tank will drain faster, resulting in imbalance, and one tank can have fuel below the port.

I'd very much like to have AOA on an HUD. Are there any HUD applications planned?

    Checklist page

I took the Dynon Skyview course at Oshkosh and found it very good. Kirk implied that the checklist feature is bubbling closer to the top and may be available in the not too distant feature. He showed us that when a display value is entered, a warning can be popped up. For example, if one has...

    Fuel level configuration

I'm joining this discussion late. Do I understand that if there is an odd shaped tank, the Skyview can be programmed to provide the right fuel level reading? I'm toying with the idea of adding a capacitive fuel gauge system to my airplane.

    Dealing With Paper Install Documents

I'm looking at a ream :) of paper documentation for various Dynon products, some of which I will use for frequent reference, some will be used once (hopefully) and then stored and most of which may be superseded. What have you found to be successful in physically handling and managing the...
