I used pin 18 (white/red) for all the 5v sensors on the engine. I don't think there is another way to power them all (oil pres, fuel pres, oil temp, etc). Don't recall if I used a common ground pin.

Your flight controls should have hard limits that, with proper setup of the servo, avoid any chance of the software going beyond those limits. You can also, optionally, install the limiting bracket provided with the servo.

Sounds to me (based on the Dynon response and the manual excerpt) like the > 10' thing may be legit, though not scientific. The way I heard it was that seemed to be the length that worked best. As always, YMMV.

Something else to consider with Garmin GPS antennas that I have not yet confirmed. A friend spoke with a rep that said they recommend at least 10' of cable between the antenna and the receiver (e.g. 430W). Anyone else heard this? Seems to contrast with typical cable length recommendations.

I had selected the wrong sensor during setup of the EFIS. Sounds like you had already done this correctly but now see an issue. Mine was fine after setting it to the correct Kavlico sensor. BTW: 30 C is not hot (in Savannah, GA) :D

airguy makes a valid point. Comparing airspeed enunciation with AOA is not a good comparison. However, if you do not have an AOA indicator, I can see where hearing the airspeed could be helpful.
