    Autopilot control panel trim controller

I have the AP Panel and Infinity grips in my RV-7A. Not sure why you would want buttons on the panel but it should be a simple as splicing the grip wires to the panel wires such that either will close to ground on any axis you choose to change. You would essentially have a configuration that...

    Level And Hsi button

Sounds like the auto-pilot needs to be calibrated. I answered your other question in the other thread.

    GPS data

I watched the Dynon training yesterday and, if I recall, the HSI+TRK button is only enabled with the Autopilot set to Expert mode. The default mode is Simple.

    GPS input options

I could not locate the 251 via the link above but found it via search on that page. http://www.dynonstore.com/#!/Dynon-GPS-251-GPS-Receiver-Antenna-Module-for-D10-D100-Series/p/68959644

    GPS input options

I would suggest you pick up a used Dynon GPS-250 antenna for the D180. They are often sold for less than 1/2 the cost of new (less than $100) when someone installs the GPS-2020 in its place. This would give you redundant GPS as well.

    SV-AP-PANEL Wiring

Pin 2 is ACFT ground Pin 9 is ACFT power (from your bus protected by fuse or circuit breaker). You'll use 7 and 14 to feed power to the trim motor (#1).

SV-AP-PANEL and RAC G207 Stick Grip Wiring

If using Infinity stick grips, they use NO to ground so no issues. Just sayin'

    Transponder Fail

Check serial connectivity. In the Skyview, you should see data flowing (counters), along with errors.

    Pitch Attitude unstable.

What are you using for static air? Some have flush mount holes in the fuselage that do not provide accurate/stable readings. Some of the certified units have to have the static air disconnected - essentially reading the pressure inside the cabin - to avoid this issue.

ADAHRS and EMS fail in flight

You can put some dielectric grease (DC-4) on the connectors to keep the water out.

ADAHRS and EMS fail in flight

Andrieu, I found an example of this error in the Skyview manual. Here is what it says: For example, a “SKYVIEW NETWORK CONNECTION FAULT – DATA 2 PAIR (PINS 4 AND 8)” listed below an SV-ADAHRS-200 listing in the network status page means that pins 4 and 8 on a SkyView Network harness or...

    EFIS D10 vs D10A

I found this on their FAQ Does the AP work with my EFIS-D10? The EFIS-D10 is not compatible with the Dynon AP. An EFIS-D10 can be upgraded to an EFIS-D10A (which is compatible with the Dynon AP). Contact Dynon Technical Support for details...

Dynon and Advanced Oshkosh 2016 News

Good point, PlaneCurious. Though I will wait on the sidelines in hopes of the new layout on the old hardware. If it doesn't happen by the time I am ready to purchase, it will save me some cash :)

Dynon and Advanced Oshkosh 2016 News

This has been asked previously and they haven't yet answered it. I suspect it will be available on the legacy Skyview screens since it would be an odd setup to have two ten inch screens, one old, one new, and have two very different display layouts. I currently have one Skyview Touch and plan...

    GPS for Garmin NAV/COMM

This is in the Dynon Skyview manual, page 29-20. Improved: GPS location now sent to GNC 255 and GTR 225 radios to enable their ability to look up aviation features from their self-contained databases. Page 4-22 details how to do it.

    Transponder Fail in Flight

Might it have been Sys Event 5? If so, the manual indicates this is a potential problem with the SSD (solid state drive). See appendix A in the latest manual. If not 5, there are instructions in the manual on how to dump the diagnostic files to send to their support team for a deeper look.

    GPS to ELT connection

For an ARTEX 345 ELT that accepts 0183 NMEA, should the serial output be set to NMEA (Basic) or NMEA OUT (FULL)? I assume 4800 baud since the Aviation format is 9600 and not yet supported. Here is their statement in the install manual. Just want a second opinion to ensure I set it up...

DYNON MUST STOP BETA TESTING ON ITS CUSTOMERS

Also a happy Dynon customer. If I were going so send in my Skyview, I would back it up myself rather than expect one of their techs to remember to do so. ::) They also have, for some time, recommended to not use two of their COM radios on the same system. No software is perfect, even in the...

    Switch For Thermocouple Wires

Another option you might consider is to use a standard temperature sensor hooked to one of the "C" type inputs in the EMS. Not sure this would work with higher temps, though. I happen to have a spare carb temp sensor and plan to use it to measure the temperature inside the Will James plenum of...
