    Stadium TFRs

The FAA used to send these out over ADS-B, but stopped in 2015. So we added them to the database. As you say, there's no way to know if they are active, but some users like to know where they are. Even back when the FAA sent them over ADS-B they were just marked as active all the time. I'm sure...

    Fuel tank reminder

He doesn't mean it needs to be "turned on" each flight. What SkySailor means is that it would remember the fuel state across power cycles. If you had a timer that went off every 5 gallons, and you shut off with 4 of those 5 used, the next time you powered on it would go off after 1 gallon, then...

    Fuel tank reminder

Bob, not sure why the upgrade would have turned this on for you, but Carl is right and you can go in and turn this off.

    Irritating "SPD" audible warning

It will only audibly alert if you have the Flight Director engaged or Autopilot engaged. As you notice, this doesn't appear to happen on the takeoff roll. That's because getting to zero speed turns things off for you. To prevent this, turn off the FD when you are landing, not just the AP servos.

D180, tacho zero revs on start up. OK on restart

We pick up the RPM from a Jabiru from the alternator. Given that both your RPM and voltage are acting up, I would guess your alternator or voltage regulator is failing.

    Transponder Fail

Well, that kind of changes everything! Your firmware update went wrong somehow. We'll need to see that transponder here at Dynon to fix it. Contact our support team to get an RMA. Sorry for the hassle.

    Transponder Fail

There is no software update needed. Based on what we see, the transponder is not sending us any data, which means it either has no power, some power or data wire is broken, or the transponder is broken.

    Next system software release

HITS will be available anytime any GPS flight plan is active. It is not connected to the flight director.

    External Warning Light

Frank, There is not a way to do this. All communications with the servos are a complex digital protocol. SkyView does announce autopilot engagement, mode changes, and disconnects via audio.

    Skyview Touch Suggestion

Mitch, maybe I am misunderstanding what you want, but those are currently adjustable (and removable) in the MAP MENU and MAP INFO ITEMS.

    GPS for Garmin NAV/COMM

Page 5-1 of the GTR install manual lists the RS-232 pins. They call TX "OUT" though, and RX "IN". Page 6-3 of the GTR manual covers the software configuration you need to do.

Product Suggestion REPLY BACK IF GOOD

This is such a great idea that we ran right out and did it! Just download any version of SkyView 3.3 or newer! In all seriousness, SkyView already has this feature. Just make sure the alarm is turned on for that item in sensor setup.

    External Fans

The RV-12 has a fan which shares a fuse with the fuel pump. It's not an aux pump, it runs all the time the master is on. No other RV's have a factory recommended or required electrical system. In our experience, fans are not needed for SkyView in an RV.

Dynon and Advanced Oshkosh 2016 News

A GTN650 or other IFR navigator doesn't use any serial ports. All connections are to the ARINC module.

    Skyview Initial Programing

There is a reverse issue here - the software on the EFIS is about 4 years old, and the servos are a bit newer. The easiest thing to do is update the screen to version 14 and bring everything up to date.

    My Own Traffic

Without ADS-B, you have TIS-A, not TIS-B. They are totally different, which is unfortunate give the names. Your experience is just the way TIS-A works. Maneuvering often makes it lose track of you and show yourself as a target.

    Sky view temperature Sensor?

SkyView does have internal temp sensors and warns if it gets too hot. You can also go into the HARDWARE STATUS screen and see what the current temp is. In our experience, this really isn't an issue.

    CHT alarm showing X

X means the sensor is broken, not that it has an alarm. You need to fix the sensor or the connections to it.
