Heading Indicator on main PFD Screen

Towers are depicted on SynVis on the PFD if they are within 1,000' of your altitude.

    Fuel Gauge calibration

This has to do with your calibration, not your "max displayed" in the sensor setup. We are not getting a high enough voltage to consider that tank to be 60L. Give us a screenshot of the calibration screen for the left tank, with that tank full, and we can show you why.

Sky view stuck in boot cycle

If you have 13.7V on the bus, you have a power supply, not a battery. Batteries are 12.6V fully charged and quickly drop to 12.2V. First things to try: Unplug all wires from one SkyView, and all but the main D37 harness from the second SkyView. Now power it on and see if it still reboots. If...

Sky view stuck in boot cycle

Given they are both doing it, and you're still building, our first guess would be that the power supply you are using cannot handle the load or your battery is discharged.

Heading Indicator on main PFD Screen

This sounds exactly like the information you get on the HSI. Direction, left/right deviation, and distance. What is the advantage you see of it being shown on the PFD vs the HSI below the PFD?

    ASI fluctuates wildly

You need to run a zero airspeed calibration as described in the install manual. 20 knots is about 0.01 PSI, which is really small and does sometimes require a re-calibration.

Does the SkyView function as a 'black box'?

Data recording in SkyView cannot be turned off. It can be erased manually at any time however. Section 26 of the install manual.

    SV ADS-B traffic anomally?

We're not experts on how the ATC system uses ADS-B right now, but our understanding is that some ATC facilities do have access to ADS-B data (and thus the N number) but most do not yet. As a total guess, I've noticed that my local ATC never asks me for an IDENT while they do ask other aircraft...

    MAP Display

57.1" means you have about 5V on the signal wire. "X" means you have about 0V on it. You should have 2.5V when the engine is not running. You could get your behavior if the ground wire (terminal A) is not hooked to anything. First thing would be to make sure your ground wire is actually...

    SV ADS-B traffic anomally?

Colleague here... Any ID's seen beneath a target are sent by the aircraft itself over ADS-B. This means they are ADS-B out targets, not just targets with transponders. ATC doesn't control these, and can't input ones for aircraft that aren't ADS-B OUT. The plane can send out whatever it wants...

Does the SkyView function as a 'black box'?

Sorry to hear about the circumstances. SkyView does record a tremendous amount of high fidelity data in a loop. The NTSB has experience accessing this data and Dynon assists them if needed.

Air time recording on the ground

All we can do to detect "in the air" is to use airspeed, and I believe we use any speed over 20 knots. Are you taxiing fast or into a stuff breeze? (enough to see IAS come alive)

    Chart Download Problems

It's acting like it doesn't have data for that area. I noticed above when you had weather, the sectional data was missing right below where you are as well. First thing, give it a moment. Second, if you have the USB plugged into a extension cable or the USB on the wire from the harness, try...

    Chart Download Problems

You have weather turned on, and currently no weather data. The "purple haze" you see is showing you where we have no weather data. It acts the same no matter what other layer you have turned on.

    Oil Temp Gauge Gap

Not a bug, and in fact is one of the most unique features of the EMS. It's covered on page 5-3 of the User Guide. The Rotax 912 operator manual requires that you get oil temp above 190F once each flight in order to get the water out of the oil. When the bar is black, this means you have not yet...

    No N Number Display

First thing: Have you checked that your ICAO code is A52264? Second: Did you check that the FAA report shows a recent flight and isn't showing from a long time ago? Third: Have you had a transponder check recently? Fourth: Any errors shown in the transponder status page?

    Increasing EFIS Back-Up Period

The largest TCW battery is 6AH, while the Dynon battery is 4.4AH. It's unlikely the TCW will get you to 90 minutes unless it's used in conjunction with the Dynon battery. The Dynon battery lasts over an hour when brand new and over 1/2 the power is the screen backlight. Can you justify saying...

    Dynon SV/ Garmin GTN-650/ Dynon Comm/ Dynon ADS-B

Yes, Skyview can pull the flight plan from the 430. It will treat all points as if it is direct between each point.

    Mismatched Fuel Sensor Setup Question

The level sensors are never used in fuel quantity calculations in SkyView. Every level sensor is just it's own tank. All fuel quantity is calculated from the fuel flow sender. You tell it you have X gallons on board before departure and it decreases from that. It's independent of the level...
