    Transponder Certification sheet

HI, I've tried to find the certification sheets for your transponders, the FAA TSO, the European ETSO etc. Are they anywhere available? I can not use the Dynon Transponder if I can not proof it has an ETSO approval here in Europe. Would appreciate any feedback and if ETSO is not yet here is...

    Redundancy logic

Thanks a lot for the explanation, but on a 2 screen system you can choose always only one ADAHRS for both, or can you run split for the two screens? Concerning cross-comparison, is the time horizon months or years :) Thanks a lot Werner

    Redundancy logic

I'm on my 2nd airplane building and happy with what I have Dynon wise in my Glastar, but the RV-10 should become another kind of flying machine. So redundancy, the screens is no question and power as well but if I have 2 or 3 ADAHRS how do they determine what data is the correct one?  Is there...

Upgrade D10A to 5.3 failed with message, yellow sc

Re: Upgrade D10A to 5.3 failed with message, yello De-escalation :D I went today again and as even the version check via computer showed the same behavior, I got suspect. My colleague used that serial cable behind that 10A for several updates and backups in the past, but if the yellow screen...

Upgrade D10A to 5.3 failed with message, yellow sc

Re: Upgrade D10A to 5.3 failed with message, yello We did use two different computers (also the one I use to regular update my 10A/100/D10/AP-74 and SV42s and it seems not to work (not accepting serial connection) I will try tomorrow another attempt to read first from the 10A and then check and...

Upgrade D10A to 5.3 failed with message, yellow sc

There you go, I'm posting this for a desperate friend. he did a backup of his 10A (sitting there the last 5 years when building) then requested the Version, still looked good, then started an update to 5.3 where in seconds he got a message, that communication to bank/chip2 failed and since then...

datalog is not latching (always off after shutdown

Re: datalog is not latching (always off after shut I'm turning it off with the left button. Need to go through the menu once more (tried several times) but can you confirm, I'm on the datalog field (which shows off), toggle it with the button to on and then it should remain on? Thanks Werner...

datalog is not latching (always off after shutdown

Hello, I'm stumbled over something here. For AP testing I'm using the datalog feature on my D10A temporary with a 1sec logging interval. I thought why not leave the datalog in addition on my D100 always on with a 10sec intervall. Now When I download all logs I was always surprised about the...

    TruTrak an Grand Rapids EIS

Thanks for the clarification, so what you tell is, hook up the IFR certified Garmin 430 ARINC output directly to the external AP. However that will not work with my SL-30 however should at the end with the Dynon AP if I got that right? Werner

    TruTrak an Grand Rapids EIS

Ok, so primary role is feeding your onw AP, but do you provide ARINC data output? As some AP's can work with ARINC input and that would (in case of such an installation broad your customer base. Is there a document describing the Skyviews data output, does it provide e.g. also NMEA 0183 output...

    Nav data for Europe.

As for NAV data and map data there is at least for the 1st one a regular update (28 days) needed, is already a pricing for that update known (US/Europe/Asia Pacific). Will the first version of Skyview delivered in a month have only terrain data no map nor NAV data available? What are the...

3 Units with DSAB and Problems

Ok, first it did not work however my 1A fuse of the D10A (Master) was blown and it did run on internal battery, after replacing the fuse and setting the EMS D10 to liters it kept it. Looks a bit weird to me, maybe I will try to redo that setup and see what happens. Thanks anyway Werner

3 Units with DSAB and Problems

I did install today to my D10A and EMS-D10 a brand new D100 all have version 5.1.1 on it. After the installation all was booted up and on the D100 the DSAB search was initiated, so far so good, however my EMS D-10 had fuel quantity changed to USGAL after that. No worries I though and changed the...

    sharing EDC-10 between two EFIS

Thanks a lot, as I anyway have DSAB already in use this is good enough for me. So I'm fine until I loose the Master with the EDC, has the D100 an internal magnetic ref too in such a case? br Werner

    sharing EDC-10 between two EFIS

I have a space problem for retrofitting a second EDC-10 with an EFIS D100 in my plane, now as I understand, the EDC-10 soemehow does talk serial with the EFIS? A serial line normaly can be split between two destinations, any idea, if that could work with one EDC-10 between two EFIS D10A and...

    AP76 delivery

Oh well, I was lurking for replacing my TrueTrak AP in my Glastar with a more capable and flexible system, but for that reason I want to have vertical steering and coupling and that seems just only be possible with the AP76 which is on hold.... As an upgrade to the new Generation is just now not...

    keypad on EMS-D10 defect

Ok, I have to bite the dust here, button on EMS is not working anymore and I can do most of it via the D10A and DSAB but I want to have a full functional unit. After my horror story (and expensive lesson learned) last time I will bring the unit in the US and send it from Florida. Can you please...
