Make sure only one display is hooked up to it.. then make sure, your cable linking both displays together is set up,, not just relying on the the network cables.

On the dynon system, you have to have the d10a. That is your secondary. It is complete by itself, ifr, whatever.! D10a is total separate system from the hdx. It is standalone.

Look for theses parts in your plane, make sure they are away from anything that gives off a signal. Incl. your elt. Put a regular compass back there and see if it deviates at all? If it does, you have an issue. Even use some screws can become magnetized. Then make sure what they are mounted...

the d-10a is a stand alone instrument! If you want all the other stuff, you need skyview system.

Go with 540, much simpler to work than Garmin. And when you use the dynon, that instrument will be afterthough, used only during instrument approach, so will be easily remembered how to use. I hate garmin!

Great idea, after spending all my dinero on the dynon, not in a position to even think anout more equipmen. Truth, other that for an approach, doubt i will ever touch the garmin again. Other than to load the flight-plan thru the flight-stream.
