    Grounds grouped together?

Looking at aninstall of a Classic Skyview (including EMS, ADS-B, ADHARS, Transponder, etc) and the gent put all the grounds together into one connector. Is this a recommended procedure or called for in the manual? Thanks

    SV Touch continued availability?

Might also want to check the VAF classifieds. ;)

    Re: Crosshairs vs wings?

Bummer, but I understand you have to make choices. Put me down as a vote in favor of it if you change your mind. (I remember when Dynon said they'd never put an analog instrument/six-pack option in the system, so there's always hope.  ;)  )

    Re: Crosshairs vs wings?

OK, made the change today and it looks great, many thanks for making that available. As Peter Falk used to say, "Just one more thing, sir." At work I like to hand fly, and find the flight director command bars invaluable when I'm doing so. I realize that they're part of the autopilot system...

    Re: Crosshairs vs wings?

EXCELLENT! Thanks for all the help. I've flown both dual and single cue, prefer dual cue if I have the choice. Not the first time (or will be the last time) phraseology has caused a problem between well meaning people.

    Re: Crosshairs vs wings?

Ah, I think I see the miscommunication/understanding here. The yellow v-bars/batwings present in a non-autopilot aircraft are Dynon's version of an airplane shape in a standard artificial horizon, and are fixed in place on the axis of the aircraft. They will not move in response to heading or...

    Re: Crosshairs vs wings?

Unfortunatly, in order to change from v-bars to crosshairs you must have an autopilot servo, otherwise the system defaults to batwings. *yuck*

    compatible comm radio

Ok, thanks. I like the Dynon one touch selector buttons and frequency transfer, but already had the cutout done when it was announced.

    compatible comm radio

I just installed a Garmin GTR200 (using cables from Approach Fast Stack) and it works great. About a year from flying so no checking with the engine running, but trying it out in the hangar was impressive. The GTR200 only has 2 Aux Audio inputs, I needed 3 and Garmin suggested the AP60 audio...

    Chart data for VFR pilots?

Excellent, thanks very much. Are these the same as the "Flight Guide" diagrams?

    Chart data for VFR pilots?

Very kind of you to offer, how about some images of what we'd see in a typical flight, say from a towered airport such as Bellingham WA, to a non-tower airport such as Arlington? Thanks for your work,

    Chart data for VFR pilots?

Ok, thanks. At least having the AD on top is reasonable, looking forward to seeing what you have planned for the VFR side you hinted to. Is there any way/plans to offer a way to demo the product before buying, similar to what is done with the MAP trial mode?

    Chart data for VFR pilots?

Sorry, 10-9 is the code Jeppesen uses for their version of the FAA Airport Diagram. 10-9 for the "big picture" chart, then 10-9A, 10-9B, etc for more detailed charts like congested ramp areas, etc. I agree with you about the value of airport diagrams/10-9 pages, which is why I was excited to...

    Chart data for VFR pilots?

Hi gang, Nice upgrade to the moving map and charts, but as a strictly VFR pilot I can't see paying $99/year for a bunch of IFR charts I'll never use, not to mention having then cluttering up the memory and trying to scroll through them when all I want is a 10-9 page.  Any possibility of...

    Checklists?

Put me down as a strong NO voter on the ECL. I've been flying them for the last 7 years at work in the Boeing, and they are an excellent tool for SA but unless the ECL is integrated with the aircraft systems in a loop to verify a system is on/off/inop, it's just another distraction pushing...

    Missing Engine screen

Thanks! EMS is connected, but not yet configured. That will be next.

    Missing Engine screen

Our first power up of the Dynon Skyview 10" today, showed all 3 screens red X'd out which we expected since GPS/Engine wer not hooked up. I pressed some buttons but subsequently could not get the Engine screen up, it does not appear as a selection on the bottom of the display. The EMS module is...

What kind of airplane are you flying?

Building a Progressive Aerodyne SeaRey for fun, which is being paid for by flying a B777 at work. http://seareybuild.blogspot.com/

    Dedicated Knob Modgule

Bump for another builder wishing for this feature. Even though my airplane will be VFR only, sometimes flying single pilot in busy airspace keeps you busy. Thanks for listening.
