Dynon Skyview in a Cessna 150

I concur with the other your Audio Panel and the SL40 will work great with what you are planning and the nice thing you will be able to control the SL40 for both Nav and Com directly from the Dynon it will make finding frequencies so easy and accurate to find and use you will be very happy with...

    ADS-B Traffic on Skyview Map

I loaded my 1962 182E with two Dynon Skyviews and have about two months of flying it so far. I love it!!! It’s never been easier to see and avoid traffic it shows up on the map as well at the PFD in very useful ways. Finally I feel like I can fly with precision and not have to constantly adjust...

First Flight with the Skyview HDX

I’m able to send and flip flop standby and active frequency’s to my GNC255 including Nav Channels from the Dynon.. have you tried selecting a nav channel from the info page that has Nav frequencies to select and tune that would at least make it a bit easer?

    Audio Alerts?

Thanks I appreciate your perspective, maybe I’m overthinking it and need give it some time as this is my first taste of a fully glass panel. Even so I felt much better in my first flight yesterday than I expected to the point that I was very aware of my improved awareness and the improved...

    Audio Alerts?

Ya it’s not bad but I was just thinking for IFR flight I would prefer a bit tighter margin. But heck I just got it in the air for my first flight since install yesterday after 20 years of flying the same plane with the old avionics.

    Audio Alerts?

I checked all the manuals and I can’t find a way do do this. when leaving a bugged altitude I get a audio alert that tells me I am leaving the bugged altitude when climbing or descending 200’ from the bugged altitude. IFR GPS Options and Redundancy

Our 182E is from 1961/62 the constrained space led us to use the G-GNC355 and GNC255 combo really it was a space limitation decision with us requiring two 10HDX screens just lit it up this week and haven’t flown it yet but I couldn’t be happier with the results

1962 Cessna 182 Dynon panel coming soon

Thanks we’re tickled pink on the results. Yes we had the JPI already and really liked it I personally also prefer that the dynon screen be more focused on flight instruments and not also display EMS on the same scree.
