I want to add a new sensor definition to the .sfg configuration file I have no problem adding. However when saving file, I am unable to save as .sfg. I am near certain I have done this a few years back but do not remember what I did to complete the task. :-/

If I remember correctly, the navigation software is already loaded in the Skyview, The code number just unlocks the data stream. Installation Manual indicates this process to redeem. setup menu>local display setup>license>license code

How did you eliminate the compass calibration alarm?

If it is not burnt completely in two pieces, it should still indicate charge/discharge.

A shunt is a calibrated resistance device with enough capacity for required amperage. Unless it is severed, it will still work. However, if the calibrated area has any burn on it from the short, the calibration has been violated. It may still have continuity but the resistance would be affected...

The red cubes need 12v power unlike the engine sensors that require 5v

How does one move the green take-off trim indicator to a new position? I do not have the auto pilot panel, if that makes a difference.

If I remember correctly (doubtful) you need to download SkyView 14.2 System Software Update (84.4mb .dup file) from Dynon. When you insert the drive into Skyview you should see several files and one should be a firmware update for the transponder. Load it by directions in installation manual...
