Can someone help me understand when I can arm VNAV?

Okay, I have read the manual and some other threads and still don't understand. I'm doing instrument training and me and my CFII don't seem to fully understand when Dynon will let me arm VNAV on the approach. It seems as though I cannot even arm it until I get the glideslope indicator on the...

Anyone know when an update is coming?

Anyone heard anything on an update timeline for HDX? I was told by a Dynon rep that mid February was expected. Ummmm we are well past that now. Mainly wondering because I can't keep track of my tach times; even after the Jerry rigged fix my tach times are still way off. Would also love...

    Skyview and 430W question

Hello everyone, today the RV and I were shooting an LPV with my new to me 430W and noticed with autopilot on it follows glideslope insanely well but about 4 miles out from the runway it wasn't keeping the HSI centered (about 1/4 scale off by the time I got almost to the runway). I have gone...

Hello everyone! I have the Dynon HDX in an RV-7A. Lately my left tank fuel sensor has not been working (reads zero, occasionally shows a fuel quantity but mostly just zero). It does usually work to some degree when tanks get to below half. If it is full it almost always shows 0 gal. It was...

    AP Panel wiring issues/question

On the AP panel can someone confirm or deny that the ground on Pin 2 (for use with trim motors) and the ground through the network are internally connected? I was trying to interrupt pin 2 ground with a switch to kill motors. The motors however still work even after disconnecting the pin 2...

    Question arinc-429 wiring

This may be a silly question but here it goes. I wired the arinc-429 for a Garmin 430 connection per figure 153 in the manual. I was double checking before installation and noticed that on the pinout pin 20 is a ground. This is not shown on figure 153. Do I need a ground on pin 20? Thanks!
