I understand the differential voltage. My question was related to using the EMS differential inputs at some voltage other than the 13-14V ships power, i.e. how low a common mode voltage can I use on the differential inputs. Dynon on an older thread wrote:
"On the D10/D12/D180, the amps shunt...
I am using a GRT hall effect sensor for my ammeter input. When attached to a GP input it does not record in the log or be used in the calculation with the VPX. I am thinking of designing a simple circuit to convert the sensor output to be used with the shunt amps inputs. In order to do this I...
Glad you like it Bob. Make sure you verify where the route takes you before you fly it since this is just another experiment in Experimental.
Since externally generated .gpx routes contain their own coordinates I have not researched what happens if there is a mismatch between the SkyView...
I thought it would be nice to be able to create a .gpx file from a Skyvector link so I wrote a perl script to do this. Since not many users have perl on their computer I packaged the script as an executable and attached it. If you use Skyvector for planning you may find this useful.
Be sure to...
I can confirm the gps date is 24 hours off in my log files also. The time is correctly stated in GMT but the date is yesterday. The file name of the exported log has the correct date. This discrepancy just started with V12.
I understand that the SV backup battery is Li-ion and its cold charging spec is at 0C. Is there a temp sense in the charging circuit so it does not charge below 0C or do I need to disconnect the battery in a cold soaked cockpit?
If Li-ion batteries are charged at low temps they plate metallic...
With all of the potential interconnection with external equipment, both implimented and proposed, the 5 serial lines have become the limitation. Does anyone else have this problem?
Dynon, are you considering a USB to serial port expander?
