I downloaded 5.1 from the Dynon website (currently have 5.0 installed), put it in the planes USB, and nothing. The on board Skyview system doesn't recognize the USB (Dynon Original). When I put it back into the PC for a clue, it now says it can't regonize the file format, and only option given...

Just t add my own experience, I've just taken my Gpx flight plan files for the first time, from the PC PocketFMS program, inserted the USb, and the Skyview can see all the flight plans, but as the previous correspondence, it doesn't load any of the flight plans into the unit. Tried to 'activate'...

Thanks for the info regarding the error. The Skyview had to be changed as there was a problem with it freezing up. It may be that in the replacement unit this calibration wasn't carried out. I'll check the Dynon Installation documentation from the aircraft manufacturer, for the original...
