Dual HDX maps don't match colors

That was indeed the issue! Thank you all for sharing your expertise.

HDX "UNKNOWN_DATE" and Time when downloading User Data

The newer hardware version 4 HDX displays do not have a time keeping chip in them, like the older ones did. (My version 2 works fine, but my ver. 4 acts like yours does). So, when you power down, you loose the clock (and calendar). It needs the GPS signal to set the clock again. This is a...

Dual HDX maps don't match colors

I have two HDX-1100s, one hardware version 2 (on the left in the attached photo), the other version 4. As far as I can tell, I have all the setup settings matched, yet map displays of the same location don't match in color. WHY? What have I overlooked?

Thank you... I was confused by the semantics. I will call if I can't figure it out.

Adding back in previously removed widgets & text info

I'm sorry... I don't understand. I don't know what "pin mapped" means. Where would I find the "pin mapping configuration"? Should I call technical support about this?

Panel mounting the USB port included in the standard wire harness

I epoxied mine into my foam and fiberglass instrument panel, using some epoxy soaked twine around it as calking. Worked great.

Adding back in previously removed widgets & text info

Agreed... they should be there, but they're not. I removed the "flaps" and "trim" widgets, and the "% Power" and "ROP/LOP Status" text infos from the 100% and 50% windows. I missed the bottom window. Those two texts are still in the bottom window and in the items lists - starred, of course...

    GPS 2020 Installation Orientation

Just thinking here... GPS "receivers" typically have an internal "patch" antenna. It would make sense to me that the antenna was in the top of the receiver package, to better "see" the satellites above. If the receiver is mounted inverted, the internal circuit board would be between the patch...

    NO ADS-B OUT: GPS LOST

If you have no GPS signal, you will get that message, and have no ADS-B out. (Been there, done that....) I suggest you carefully follow the troubleshooting and testing instructions in the SkyView System Installation Guide - Revision AE, on pages 8-12 through 8-15. It's not that hard, really.

    GPS 2020 port configuration

Instructions for installing your specific setup start on page 8-6 of the SkyView System Installation Guide - Revision AE. Configuration instructions are on page 8-10. And, yes, you can connect GPS 2020 to port 4, Pos. 1, and the GPS 250 to port 5, Pos. 2.

Adding back in previously removed widgets & text info

Pages 7-85 and 7-86 in the SkyView System Installation Guide - Revision AE describe how to add a sensor or info widget to the EMS screen, and later how to remove it. However, once a widget or text info is removed, it no longer appears in the selection menu, and thus can't be added back in again...
