    Firmware downloads

I employ EFIS-D100 and EMs D-10a in homebuilt which is equipped to use Mac mini computor. A lot of aviation programs are designed only for Mr Gates/MS so my question is: Can I update both devices with my Mac mini? Thanks, you're great, Ferg Europa mono 914 CSprop

    backup battery question

Post 8535: In the interim, I was able to remove the D100 and cannot now reinstall it because of aircraft work. Nevertheless I would prefer to re-charge the internal battery. May I do this by applying 13Vdc to the #1 and #2 pins of the D-sub 37 connector in order to do so? Thanks.

    Installation Manual revisions

Unless I've missed the cues, may I offer the suggestion that any changes to Installation or Operation of Dynon devices be accompanied by a black line opposite the text lines, to show the exact position of changes? This (you probably know already) is a standard amongst the leading aircraft...

    Re: hex mounting key

Thanks, I appreciate the reply. I tried 7/64ths and she spun. SO I went to the local tool store and acquired a 1/8th inch which slid into place and did the job.

ground loops twixt EMS-D10 and EFIS D100

I started the project with the EMS-D10 and installed it, and then much later chose and began to install the EFIS D100 unit. There are interactions between the two, which are not considered (naturally) before the second unit is used. One of these is Grounding. I have now grounded both to the same...

    EMS-D10/Rotax914-CHTs

    >:( I am beginning the installation and on page 2-14 CHT SENSORS, para2, says: "Connect either end of one of the resisitors to the +5V Excitation Circuit (pin 18) and the other end to the wire connecting the left CHT sensor to pin 4. Repeat this with the right CHT sensor." I presume this implies...
