I purchased an Approach Pro Hub some time back before deciding to go with an ALL DYNON Skyview panel. Looking over the installation guide and list of equipment I can no longer see any use for the Approach Hub if I utilize the available Dynon wiring harnesses. I am planning on all Dynon COM, Transponder, etc.

Am I missing something or do I put the Approach Hub on EBay?

I think it would add to the amount of installation work, though I haven't any experience with its installation. I have the Dynon setup you plan to install in my RV-7A, which took about 3 months of weekends (~12-15 days) to complete. The network wiring is as simple as it gets. Engine, auto-pilot and commo/ICS wiring a more detailed and time consuming but well documented in the install guide.

My 2 cents.

I have the approach hub with my all Skyview system in my RV-6a and really like it and happy I went that way. It really simplified the wiring and I didnt have a lot of connections I would have had to figure out a way to tie together.

I had one in my old setup however I sold it on eBay. It was less weight and less work to Simply have Steinair build up the wire harness that I need. I am running all Dynon plus a Garmin gtn 650 and an SL 15.

I used the Pro Hub to interface a GTN650and other garmin equipment works great not to mention the fact that if you want to change or add equipment in the future you don't have to tear up a custom harness probably my biggest reason to use the Pro Hub solution. :)
