We just need to make sure we don't tell everyone about the Turbo Encabulator that is in development.

I would still love a remote mounted compass module since there is EMF everywhere in my tandem. That would be easier than a flux capacitor.

V speeds

How about user settable V speeds

Vx best climb angle
Vy best climb rate
Vz cruise climb or Carson speed
Vfe flap operating speed
Vc café optimized cruise speed etc.....

Sure you can think of a few more. A feature that is offered in several certified EFIS.

Use the values to set IAS tape colors. Set V-speed (e.g., stall speed in landing configuration) thresholds on the Airspeed Limitations Page (SETUP MENU > PFD SETUP > AIRSPEED LIMITATIONS)

looks like a -Y (for VxY) on the right of the tape

I think these replies stink- pun intended ;D

How about the ability to put engine monitoring as a strip at the bottom of the screen?

yes, of all the great ideas on this thread, Craig hit the AFS concept for the EMS data on the bottom, if that meant having the MAP and PFD take up the 50/50 and the EMS across the bottom, it would be a fantastic feature.

I could really go for that!

Best regards

Trev
Yes, it would be nice to be able to set a few critical engine parameters to monitor on a strip, maybe just as annunciator lights or something. I notice with the new charts, you pretty much have to be inf 50/50 display to see them, requiring no engine monitor display. Be nice to have a strip to monitor while in 50/50.

Thanks.

Since SkyView's screens are wider than they are taller, we always thought the space was better used with vertical strips. We're interested to hear why you would prefer to see the EMS on the bottom so we can consider this request better. What advantages do you see it having?

It requires us to do things like make the HSI smaller, and it means you have less look-ahead distance on the moving map when track up. We also have to make the info items on the side of the map smaller.
