Changing the fuel level widget to "height of bar"

To confirm what you have found, the "height-of-colored-bar" format was removed in a previous version of firmware. We will replace it in a future version. Murray's explanation of how to edit it manually will work.

Changing the fuel level widget to "height of bar"

Look on pages 7-85 and 7-86 of the current (Rev. AB) installation manual, for instructions on how to change the widgets. You should be able to select the vertical fuel level widgets.

    D180 hobbs time error

First, as background, the Hobbs timer records the duration of time that engine oil pressure is at 15 PSI or higher. If this is a new installation, then you should first look at the set up for the oil pressure sensor. If that is wrong, then you could get anomalies. Have you noticed whether...

    Servo Torque

True. The servo design is such that it is intended to be over-powered by the pilot if needed. The torque value sets that value, of what it takes to override. Part of the setup is to test that you can override the servo at the set torque value. So 100% is fine as long as you can override it. The...

    CO Guardian

We're not experts on what it does or doesn't do, CO Guardian knows that best. It's an analog connection to SkyView, not serial, it doesn't do anything besides display data and errors. https://www.guardianavionics.com/guardian-353n-201-remote-co-detector-experimental-aircraft-for-dynon-skyview

    CO Guardian

To be clear: CO Guardian does work with SkyView.  We worked together with them to make sure they have the right configuration files. Right now you have to get the config file from CO Guardian, but a future SkyView release will have that file included.  These are the links to their products...

    Servo Torque

Look at the settings, and if the torque setting is less than 100% try increasing it. It is okay to be at 100%, but make sure you test that you can override the servo. See the SkyView installation manual, section 10, AP Servo Installation, Configuration, and Calibration, to know how to do that.

Show track of where I’ve flown

Those are a good ideas. There are several situations where that can be useful, to see your track real time, and to be able to reference a previous track. We will put them on our idea list.

    AOA MALFUNCTION

Our next suggestion is to disconnect the AoA tube from the ADAHRs, and use a air pressure source to blow out the line. (Do not blow air into the pitot end with the ADAHRs still connected, as that can damage them.)

    Servo Torque

A slip is not a permanent condition. You might get a "jerk", but the servo and autopilot then return to controlling the airplane. If a small slip, you may not feel it.

    ADSB 472

That is not clear yet. As previously stated we think the software upgrade will be a big improvement. We continue to move forward with a hardware modification as well, just in case.

    dirty pitot tube

"I see a small screw on the bottom of the pitot, would I be able to take out that screw and clean it that way?" No, that would not accomplish anything. The internal tubing is glued and potted in place. You would most likely damage it if you try to disassemble the pitot.

    FUEL FLOW TRANSDUCER

Have you calibrated the sender per the instructions in the install manual? Senders need to be calibrated for their given installation. While their spec is 6-70 GPH, in our experience they work just fine at flows as low as 1 GPH.

    Amps Draw Indication

Vern's observation is a good one. Upstream wires being broken can cause readings like this. However, they do generally change somewhat as you change other wire connections. If you can, try shorting the shunt input at the EMS. We have seen some inputs be broken over the years, so if it doesn't...
