Skyview Touch- No fuel flow indication

Jim, Take the sense wire (white, I think) at the cube at tap it against a ground. This input senses something that is either ground or not. When you tap it, you should see a fuel flow. If you do, then the sensor is at question, if you don't, then the wiring or EMS is an issue.

    Wind integration period

Winds can be calculated in reasonable climbs and descents. A 1000 FPM climb or descent at 100 knots only causes a 0.5% error in ground speed, which is pretty irrelevant. It gets even better the faster you go. We're calculating constantly and without much averaging, so unless you are trying to...

    Problem with trim interface

This is by design. This prevents a trim run-away condition if a button sticks. Given you never really trim this long in flight, it's a pretty reasonable protection. Covered on page 18-5 of the install manual:

    Skyview failure.

The AP may disconnect and the transponder may go offline for a moment, but if that happens both will come back automatically within a few seconds. The SkyView system is designed for complete redundancy with two screens.

Connecting the ADAHRS to the system?

All the connectors in the system are interchangeable, so plugging the AHRS into the radio is fine, and how the system was designed to work.

    CT pilot autopilot display problem

The CT pilot is made by TruTrak, not Dynon. You will need to contact them.

    Mapping a box

It isn't possible for a user to create lines or boxes on SkyView. You can however create user waypoints that you could use to define the corners of the box.

    Autopilot airspeed low annunciation

We just identified this ourselves about a week ago, and it's a bug that will be fixed. That indication can latch if the autopilot mode (including disconnect) is changed while it's present.

    Local time on the display

We've considered this, but it's far from trivial to implement. Just for the USA, the time zones are full of nooks, crannies, and holes, as well as political issues where states or counties don't obey DST, and the DST dates change year to year. There are straight paths over the USA where you can...

red x over flap position widget

Did you follow these steps from the manual? Page 7-85 of the install manual covers the screen layout editor, where the "widgets" are to add/remove them. If the above doesn't work, that is worth trying in case yours somehow got mis-configured.

    UK IFR crtification

The SkyView and D10A/D6 are pretty different platforms. They run completely different code on completely different processor types and were written 5+ years apart. So a cross-software bug is pretty unlikely. However, without seeing the exact regulation that drives the requirement, we can't...

    Upgraded to HDX1000

The Tach is in engine revolutions. It's an odometer for the engine. You have to back out the baseline RPM and then covert to hours. Hobbs is in seconds. You can import these if you want. Add "_import" to the end and they will import. Example: ems_module={ tach_time_import=XXXXXXX...

ADAHRS fine on the ground, but goes out in the air

Page 5-10 of user manual: On the ground, the map is magnetic based. In flight, it's ground track.

    Compass Calibration

It does sound like the in-air would be best in this situation. Actually, it's best in almost all situations.

    Waypoints are not showing

Kim, we need a lot more information. Are you creating them externally and importing them? Are they correct on the flight plan page but not visually? A few screen shots would help.

    Compass Calibration

It is not. However, we display ground track from the GPS so you can do it this way if you can find a place you can taxi. A runway isn't a good idea anyway as you'd need to know the heading to the degree, and they are often full of rebar. Plus, you have to go at least 4 directions, so sitting...

    Dynon Comm Push-to-Talk?

First things first. The COM radio screen should say TX in the corner when you are transmitting. Is it doing that? If not, something between the intercom and the radio is wrong.

Mutual documentation of the undocumented yaw servo

Dynon's yaw damper is designed to both stabilize yaw, but also to auto-coordinate the aircraft. In our experience with aircraft like an Europa with significant adverse yaw, it makes a tremendous difference in the autopilot's performance. It can also be independently engaged and used even when...

    Skyview/Foreflight/Garmin Flight Stream 210

This is a Foreflight question. This would require Foreflight to be able to understand and prioritize different connections. Dynon doesn't know if this will work, we've only tested connections between Foreflight and our products.
