I've used an alt from Geo metro for over 20 years then replaced with a Honda alt. Auto alt's work fine.

I've check for a grounding issue. I'll play around with it today see what I can find.

On the last three flights my autopilot disconnected it self several times. No warning on the messages. Also on this one hour flight today the Dynon nav lost position about three times for one second each. I checked the connections and ,autopilot switch inflight, could not duplicate. Any ideas...

If you have the HDX system you can still fly with out an autopilot panel.

I'd be looking at spark plugs and leads.

Sounds like you lost the primary and backup secondary wires. Loose connection broken or misaligned pins. Time to check the connections in the harness.

Upgraded to the HDX, Dynon has the the old unit.

It powered up with the blue light on. It may be something about the HDX.

The blue light is on, the only way that can happen is that the module is plugged in before SV in powered up!

I upgraded to the SV HDX from classic. My video adapter worked just great on the classic, after installation of the HDX my video no longer works. It's plugged into the back of the HDX, the blue light comes on with the camera selected but nothing. Under setup I get the message "Video input setup...

My new trade up to HDX is asking for license codes, so where are the codes? My old SV died last week so unable to download a backup. I'll be sending it in tomorrow.

Been using SA for around 10 years no issues here. Always fast and never a problem with USB sticks. Never uploaded the beta version. I also never turn my computer off unless power failure or is doing stuped stuff.

Installed mine this week. cut the red connector off and added longer wires to 12 v battery, plugged the yellow connector to the adapter fired it up set the system to "NTSC Composit" and pressed "Accept". It's a 6 dollar camera but for what I'll use it for works fine. I did have to sent my unit...

Are you intercepting it at to much of an angle? Try less than 30 deg.

What camera do you have? Had a few issues with mine, but turned out to be operator error.
