I disconnected the EMS from Skyview buss and all the other devices came back online. So I recovered all capability except engine monitoring.  As Dynon's "Gut feel is the EMS just because it's hooked to AMPS and volts from the Alternator" is accurate.  I will be getting with Dynon to return this...

Dynon, On a trip from Fort Worth, TX to Meridian, MS I had a alternator failure about 40 miles from Meridian.  When the alternator failed it tripped the field breaker.  It also failed off the -201 ADAHRS, the ARINC 429, GPS-250 and the EMS.  The -200 ADAHRS displays bad altitude and airspeed...

I think it is referring to the GNS430W firmware. The firmware has the protocol that supports Dynon XPDR at the correct SIL level. The database is for approaches and terrain on the 430W.

Dynon did email me back and said they are able to duplicate this problem and they were working on a fix. It is a bug in ver 15. Kurt

Diag file has been uploaded. I had the Pitot Static and Transponder checks performed this evening with the -201 set as primary to get around Pitot Static Test Mode limitation. I swapped it back to the -200 as Primary right before I downloaded the Diag file. Thanks, Kurt

I will get the diag file to you later today. In the normal COMPARE mode it works fine regardless of which ADAHRS is primary. Only the Pitot / Static Test Mode is affected. Thank You, Kurt

I checked the Network Configuration and it all looks good. I repeated the selection again for the Primary ADAHRS and got the same results. With the -200 as primary it will not see the -201 in the Pitot Static Test Mode. With the -201 as Primary the Pitot Static Test Mode see's both ADAHRS...

I know the network detects both ADAHRS. I don't remember the "COMPARE" option when I went to the ADAHRS selection page. Only the primary one as "ONLINE SELECTED" and the second displayed but "OFFLINE", I think. When I get back home ill check it out in more detail.

I also have a Garmin 430W and will occasionally see the loss of data from the 430W for a brief second. I have seen this with pre-version 15, but not on version 15 yet. I just upgraded this week. But since the latest version of 14.xx. I still see the blinking out of data but not the A/P change...
