    what's next

Did I see somewhere that a new release may be out before the end of year? Any "preview" of what "may" be released if that is the case? I would like to be able to have the .gpx flight plans on the actual skyview (downloaded) probably just me, but the Import feature doesn't always work with one of...

    CWS Hold Heading & Altitude

Mine does the same thing, except It does it when I press the button versus hold it for 2 seconds. I think Jake and Stephen are on to somehting with the ground and being stuck closed. I'll test the connections and see if I can locate the issue. Thanks all!

    CWS Hold Heading & Altitude

Yes, 3.2. Is the CWS meant remain lit even when I release the button? Right now I engage the AP via CWS get a heading and altitude I want; release the CWS button but the CWS remains lit? I can disengage/reengage the AP via the CWS button and the AP works but the CWS remains on, so regardless of...

CHT/EGT rise when PTT is depressed

I spent most of the day working with a Avionics tech. He found everything normal with the radio, coax (RG-400) and antenna. The length of all 6 CHT's are different and it appears that 1,2,and 5 is now anything (aka changes from EGT to CHT, to all spiking) Cable wise I have the EMS in the far...

CHT/EGT rise when PTT is depressed

I noticed in the last couple of flights that my CHT and EGT for 1,2,and 5 rise whenever I or the copilot side depress the PTT switch. Any ideas why this may be occurring? Thank you!

    CWS Hold Heading & Altitude

"While you have CWS active AFTER an engage, watch the top bar for a flash that lasts just a second as the AP fully disconnects and then goes into hold to engage mode." Was this issue resolved? I believe I may have this happening.

    erractic rpm overspeed with io540

Yes, I am. I called support and they told me to keep going higher than 100k, maybe up to 150k. Problem, other than the constant soldering in the area, is that one loses the lower rpm if it is too high.

    erractic rpm overspeed with io540

my apologies as I know this was covered before however I'm having issues with pulling any info on this from the "search" engine. My RPM is steady until about 2600rpm when it seems to quickly jump to 2800-2900rpm than goes back to 2600. I have not stared at it to determine how often or consistent...

    Shock Cooling Detection

Let me rephrase- is "shock cooling" something we'll see sooner or later? Where is it on the priority list? Thanks!

    Shock Cooling Detection

Is this still in the "coming soon" for EMS features?

    what's next

    1) Electronic checklists: self-explanatory. Even better, SMART electronic checklists that know what phase of flight you are in and will pull up the correct checklist. Could also be a safety enhancement in being tied to the EMS indications because it can prompt for the right emergency checklist...

    Boot up issues with 3.2

Re: Boot up issues with 3.2 I've had this problem when the battery power is low. Once I get it charged up again it works fine. Check the bu battery charge, mine was too low to keep the display running when the main battery was too low. I knew the backup battery was fully charged when I went to...

Thanks for that response. I was looking for exactly what Dynon responded with.

    what's next

I am quite happy with how Dynon has listened to us. The incorporation of VP-X and NMEA is a testament to that. Maybe Dynon can give us an idea of what the 4-5 items they may focus on next are. As users we can respond via a survey which of those items are a priority and they can focus their...

    Shunt location when using VP-X?

I have the VP200, it does exactly what you are saying,I would be surprised if the VP-X would be any less. There is even a line in my installation manual that states no Shunts are needed. I have a red wire coming from the alternator that connects to the VP to display the OUTPUT Call Marc at VP...

    what's next

I know the dust is still settling on 3.2 but what is on the radar for the next release? Is it time to go back and do another survey of wanted features? if so, better/improved (or as Dynon calls it "Advanced") flight planning still remains on the top of my list. Thanks for the great support and...
