RV flyer and I have this issue, but not as bad as you have. My suggestion for now, is Dynon is looking into this. Wait and see what they discover. Once we know what the issue may be we can all refocus on that component.

Doug; The reason for the recalibration is because 3.3 deemed it was not correctly done. If you're going to do it I would go to a compass rose and do it than. The system will figure which direction it is facing, but it is up to us to assure it is accurately done.

yep, I made mention of this above. The only way to get rid of it is to point the plane in all four directions and acquire the heading. See Response #36 from Dynon why you got that error.

lalnaes; Did it start after the 3.3 upgrade? I have the Zulus and I noticed the noise you mention after the upgrade. I turned the audio alerts off (0%) hum remained. Do not recall the noise with 3.2. Interesting that the filters did not resolve/diminish the issue.

Your heading performance will be no different before 3.3 and after 3.3, we're just warning you that it wasn't optimal before 3.3. Than in that case, another great safety feature of the upgrade! Thank you!!

Re: V3.3 Audio Dynon; I have alerts with my VP-200 and I'll say I like your warning far more at this point. Knowing what the issue is versus a "dong" or "check Engine" is far more useful for someone to know where to look to correct the alarms than having to search for what it is. I agree doing...

I have noticed that my #2 EGT will occasionally spike up to max red after a couple of hiccups as it moves up quickly. CHT is 320 and steady, than the spike will just go back to normal. Hard to predict. Happened once at run-up, once at cruise. I looked at the pipes and everything looks right...
