Just to clarify, this only is affecting SV-GPS-250 receiver / antenna units that were manufactured before the 2012 / 2013 time frame.  Later 250's are not affected, nor is the 2020.

We do see this occasionally. You will definitely need to relocate the transponder antenna, shielding the servo will be less than ideal. You just need to get it away from those 250 watts.

Sounds like you have the moving map source set to the Garmin and the HSI set to SkyView. Go to map setup and make sure the TIE FLIGHT PLAN SRC TO HSI NAV SRC is set to YES

We have been told, but haven't tested it yet, that everything except the VFR flight plan altitude functions will work. We will be testing soon.

I think I also had the change the min_val=5 to -10, still working on this, but time has been limited this week.

I actually had a similar problem at work, there were 4 states I couldn't get the IFR charts to download. Back and forth upstairs a few times we finally decided it was a firewall issue. Had our IT guy white list the download site and poof, no problems.

In traffic settings menu, set the non- Dynon ADSB out onboard to Yes, that will get you traffic when around other aircraft who are ADSB out.

Just a quick update, I am currently working on this. By the documentation we have 250 is indeed correct for X1. When I run the numbers it needs X0=-124. I did test it and it works fine like that, but we want to verify we have current info from the vendor before we mod the sensor file.

Bruce, We found the servo had moisture in it at one time or another and the motor had seized due to rust on the armature. The circuit board also had visible corrosion and water stains. We elected to replace rather than repair the servo. If you have any questions, feel free to give me a call...

Give us a call in support and we can send you a file to put the default layout back in. If you load a SkyView classic or touch config file in the system it blows away the bottom engine band widgets. 425-402-0433
