Change that in the Dynon hardware calibration.

Intermittent amperage spike causing engine aural warning

Maybe you have too many electrics on (too much 'load') when at low rpm? Some aircraft systems do not output enough power to overcome the 'loads' ;)

High oil temp issue Hdx Continental Io 550 N

To make things easier I join the pressure sensors grounds onto the MAP sensor ground - has worked for Hundreds of hrs. The standard Dynon Oil Temp sensor does not have a ground wire however if the temp sensor you have (hopefully compatible) has provision for a ground then ground it to the Dynon...

High oil temp issue Hdx Continental Io 550 N

If you have 1 x Ems ground wire going to a good airframe ground then that will work.

High oil temp issue Hdx Continental Io 550 N

A bit of clarity here. - the pressure sensor grounds, fuel flow, map sensor etc should be connected to the ground wires ( there are several of them) that are available out of the EMS module - the Oil Temp sensor body uses the engine case as a ground, there is no separate ground wire for it. all...

High oil temp issue Hdx Continental Io 550 N

The best grounding method is to connect the sensor ground to 1 of the EMS module grounds - if you run out of grounds there then just join into 1 of them. you are using the Dynon (Kavlico) pressure sensors, correct?

    Transponder Setting Warning upon Powerup?

Bill, I hear you however to expand on my point - this is the first time I’ve heard of this type of request so I’d suggest it would be a low priority ‘enhancement’ considering most of us would automatically check the Txpdr settings as well as comm frequencies. I too have missed checking the Txpdr...

Dynon HDX Fuel Flow "K" Factor settings?

Akash - the default K Factor is 68000, as per the Install Manual - afaik there is now minimum/maximum K, it all has to do with each individual installed FF unit & variations of its install. For most GA 4/6 cylinder engines you can probably expect to see the calibrated K factor be in the 50000 -...

    Transponder Setting Warning upon Powerup?

It's one of those things - if you want full automation then I wonder what flying is about for those people, having checklists is part of the 'fun' & discipline - next thing is someone will want a parachute & a Dynon widget advising it has indeed been deployed - get over it !

Make sure the PPR (Pulse Per Revolution) is set at 2.

    Transponder

Ok, so your ADSB IN is working & not related to Txpdr. Can you post a screen shot of the Txpdr setup menu please, it would be most helpful ? Are you able to select the transponder using the MENU button at bottom of the screen ?

    HDX 10" Sticky Buttons

Agree, & if you did mess with it then I’d suggest the ‘fixed price’ repair most likely will not apply -could be expensive territory. I know of a situation where the G company would not even touch the unit or replace a memory battery for the GNS 480 - due to that the owner searched the internet...

    ARINC 429 Driving TruTrak Autopilot

He has only 1 I believe, it’s a legacy TT unit. Maybe he wants to display the VOR/ILS on the Dynon HSI instead of a separate HSI/CDI? Also something to do with the rate of Arinc data = slower for TT than most other Arinc equipment ? We really need more info from the OP.

    HDX 7' screen size.

I have one 10" screen & always wish for 2 however not possible in my panel - 2 x 7" screens just doesn't work for me.

    Flightdek 180 CHT odd reading

A minus number eg -99 indicates a disconnect somewhere & maybe at the D25 end - when installing the thermocouples/wires I usually Remove the backshell & the blackheatshrink near it Carefully bend the harness to the shape needed when it's installed so the pins do not retract back from the fully...

Need 2000 psi sender to measure gear system pressure?

My musings - is to maybe make up a 'rig' using a calibrated gauge & the MLH sensor, inject ~5 volts into the sensor power (connect the ground of course) & measure the output volts at the particular psi for say the 'green' range, you could also work out other 'range' points. Then set up your...

Need 2000 psi sender to measure gear system pressure?

    OK - try this Honeywell MLH02KPSB06A = 0 - 2000 psi. you'll find a data sheet. There are 6 output options & 1 is 1-5volt - I'm going to try 1 on a Glasair in the next 2-3 months.;)

Need 2000 psi sender to measure gear system pressure?

Although you have a 0-5 volt output is the sensor you have rated for 0-2000psi ?
