    Dynon Certified status?

Dynon - I've got a 172 with cranky vacuum pumps that is just begging for the Skyview STC - can you give us any hints as to the timeline for when that will be available?

What did I miss AGL box ?

It's a reference to a currently-nonexistent piece of data on the PFD screen that would give the aircrafts current altitude in AGL (Above Ground Level) rather the MSL (Mean Sea Level).

How do I get the Autopilot to fly an IFR approach?

Same here, with the 430W providing all my TSO'd nav capability. I'm using the Dynon GPS2020 receiver for my ADSB position though.

    ADSB 472

I have a feeling that Dynon already has some beta-testers lined up - and an equally strong feeling that George isn't one of them. ;)

    Amen. Preach on.

USB Preparation Folder & Seattle Avionics Download

Essentially, yes. The folder you create is used by the Seattle Avionics program to identify a device that should have the chart data installed - but the chart data does not go into that folder.

    ADSB 472

Mine does not work reliably above about 12,000' AGL - now I'm wondering about my antenna and coax on the receiver, I may need to check that.

    ADSB 472

That sounds promising - perhaps good enough to head off a possible hardware fix?

    ADSB 472

Dynon - I'm seeing an "issue" with the current version of the 472 that I have installed, running Skyview Classic with 15.2.0 software, that I'm curious if it is something to do with the current known problems with the 472, or something else. I make a lot of long cross-countries in the...

Map North Up - Plane symbol centered- wasted space

You can't please everyone. Dynon does an amazing job of fitting their product to please as many people as possible, but you can never please everyone, there will always be someone who sees some aspect of the system differently and will not be satisfied. No one is required to buy Dynon...

    Amps Draw Indication

Check your connections on the shunt, this sounds like a low-resistance weak connection.

Clicking noise when monitoring two frequencies.

Turn your strobes off, see if it goes away. What radios and comm panel are you using?

Those little guys just won't stay calibrated!

    ADSB 472

That's good to know - and thanks for the update. You alluded to some differences on airframe/antenna combinations - it would be quite helpful if you could expand on that a bit, and give us an idea of what is seen as a "best solution" and what to stay away from. Is it a groundplane issue? A...

    GPS 2020 mounting location

I have a 9A with the Dynon 2020 GPS and Garmin 430W mounted on a shelf just forward of the firewall under the fiberglass cowl, and I get excellent service on both receivers. Just make sure you don't use a metallic pigment in your paint, and make sure that wherever you mount them is far enough...

    ADSB 472

I definitely don't like the delay in fixing the 472 - but I also remember waiting for the new Skyview impatiently, and the 2020-compliant GPS receiver, and the comm radio, and the upgraded autopilot. Each time we were all impatient, and each time they finally came out with a product that I, at...

    Altimeter discrepancy on Skyview

That's possible, though I don't know that I would call it likely, at least not just yet. I have dual static ports with lines that rise up the sides of the fuse to a Tee connection at the top, then it goes from there to a 3-way splitter. One leg of that goes to the Dynon ADAHRS, the other leg...

    Altimeter discrepancy on Skyview

On Saturday of this weekend I flew in some rain just prior to landing and putting the aircraft away, no problems noted in flight or landing. On Sunday I pulled it out to fly again and noticed that my Skyview Classic with 15.2.0 software was indicated altitude about 400 feet high with the correct...

    No alerts on maintenance log?

Wow - I can't believe you guys didn't consider that when creating the maintenance log, honestly. What's the point of having a timer for the maintenance items for tracking without an alert? I would definitely like to request that feature be added in a future software update.

    No alerts on maintenance log?

I set up several items in my maintenance log (Skyview Classic, 15.1.0) and noticed that my oil change timer (referencing tach time) did not flag me with any alert when it expired. I cannot find a specific setting to turn alerts on/off, am I missing something?
