Akash - What aircraft hull material type ? Where is you Com antenna located in relation to the EMS unit ? What type of antenna coax cable are you using ? note - if you are using a recently purchased EMS unit then the 'issue' would normally be elsewhere, answers to the questions may be very helpful.

Same setup here except I have dual HDX's - never seen the issue you describe. Having the most recent software is good. Which antenna do you have on the IFD , an IFD one or another brand like the Rami etc ? Garmin ?

I have know the connection at the base of the 250, & presume the same would happen with the 2020, to become intermittent or fail without an obvious break due to too much 'handling' - there is no need to do that, just put it away until it's ready to use ;)

It’s not necessarily that simple, there are ’tracks’ & solder joints to consider as well. Maybe you could borrow another panel just for testing?

Stevec - you are correct, the # 149 mount will not fit the 6 as they are for the 7/9's. Dampening is not ideal, just beef up the mount.

Post 3 alluded to a possible cause - check that the pins/sockets are seated fully (checked by a light pull on the wire) as a multimeter check will not show that, it will only show continuity -if you haven't already done this.;)

Steve - the ADAHRS message is telling you something- the mount is not rigid enough ;) or.... you could buy the $20 fabricated mount ( #149) from Vans.

:rolleyes: some listen, read, take note & make up their own mind. the smarter ones know that for IFR they would not mount a single Gps antenna in the cowl area. VFR ? who cares ? if the antenna fails they can always just look out the window or at an ipad etc. BTW - my Gps antenna has survived...

yes, do the zero airspeed calibration however you should also check that there is no kinking of the tubing involved with the gear alert system.
