Then it appears you may have the transponder in Flight mode rather than Ground mode? I always set the system up in Auto so that the ‘alerts’ will not happen on the ground.

While the system is powered up & with 'coverage' you will get that, I 'see' traffic with the hangar doors open.

settings are saved in the SV, I usually do a configure anyway just to make sure that the whole system is as it should be - just a little effort to do that :)

I usually do that on installations however just to a good ground will work to.

While we're talking about the INFO column - I've seen a picture of it shown in the middle of the HDX screen however I have not found anything in the settings that will allow that, it just shows on the right hand side. Can it actually be in the middle or was that just an idea that was ultimately...

Yes and .....make sure you do a System Configuration so that the Dynon 'sees' the servos, then do the setup of the Autopilot via the menus. That's the basics, there is more in the Install manual. Jake J

Were the CHT/EGT probes disconnected from the Dynon (brown) harness ? What are the temps displayed for each probe & cylinder ? check your pm's. Jake

Mark, just a thought here - you most likely don't have a 'box' failure especially as you've just removed/replaced the engine - did you connect the heavy duty ground cable from the engine to the firewall/battery ? Was the EGT/CHT connector removed from the Dynon or EMS module ? Jake

For us, ATC doesn't care about our ADSB IN ability :). This is something that may help from the regulator " ‘EB1’ will be the appropriate entry for the majority of ADS-B equipped General Aviation aircraft"

If we're just talking about filing a flight plan then it should be EB1, IN has no impact on that.

Maybe the solution is easier than you think - did you also update the system with the latest .sfg file ? This is from the software update page, right hand side bottom of page - "There are occasional improvements to sensor characterizations. Unless you are using a custom engine sensor...

FYI over here B1 = ADSB OUT on 1090MHz & B2 = ADSB OUT & IN on 1090MHz - I figure the numbers only will/may change eg 978MHz for you guys below 18oooft. I use EB1 here as I only have OUT as a 'approved' system however also have the Dynon -472 for IN ;)

The proof of that is in the written word - I'd check the install manual;) .... always the latest version.
